L’Amour Nail Spa is located in Park Ridge, Illinois. We provide nail services in a clean and comfortable environment. We strive to deliver the quality of services and excellent customer service. All pedicure tubs are protected with liners. Liners are use only once and are disposed after each client. Also, we use disposal files, buffers, and pumice pads.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My best friend (Honduran with tan skin), My God daughter (biracial but looks Caucasian at times) & I (African Peanut Butter skin) came in to this shop. The attendant denied us service the moment I walked in behind them. My friend lives in Park Ridge and just started having these type of experiences, I, unfortunately, am accustomed to this behavior since I was a child.

I made an appointment by phone and described the services I wanted. When I got to the salon, there was only one small section of no chip colors (literally only like 40 colors to choose from) which I thought was really weird. Then the lady told me she couldn’t do anything for me because she DOES NOT WORK WITH GEL AND ACRYLICS. I said that it needed to be way more clear on their website and flyers. There were only 2 people working in the salon too. I guess they only do regular & no chip nail polish. Nothing else.

I’m not someone who gets her nails done often but this spa and the staff made me feel truly relaxed. Everything was very neat and clean. My nails were absolutely perfect, they were very efficient without making me feel rushed as well. Jesse, my nail technician, was the kindest person I’ve met and it was like hanging out with a friend. This place also has something unique which I loved!! They add lavender or green tea spa treatments to their foot basin and it’s a game changer. Truly a place filled with moments of zen I will be back often!

Rush job was done cause they were over booked. Not worth the time or money. Had to setup my own massage, heels were still rough after point out to pay attention to that specific area. The foot massage was only 3 minutes top. Really need to treat clients better especially men.

Critical: ProfessionalismI called & scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, I was about 15 minutes late due to the weather and when i entered the place the lady was extremely rude. She said i was late and did not even bother to greet the customer. The place was empty without any customers and it was not even closing time and yet the lady did not have the curtesy to talk properly. I planned to get my dipping powdered nails removed along with a pedicure- She told me they did not have the equipment to to remove the tips. I did not like the way she spoke and so i walked out. The nail tech told the customer “you called & changed your appointment to 5:15 pm. Don’t you remember?” The customer insisted her appointment was at 3:45 & left. At 3:55, I was led to the pedicure seat & my feet were placed in water. The nail tech left for 10 minutes & when she returned, she asked me if my appointment was at 4:45. I told her it was at 3:40. She explained that there was a mistake & another customer was scheduled at this time. SHE ASKED ME TO GET UP & LET THE OTHER LADY BE SEEN FIRST. She told me I could wait & be seen after the lady. I got up & left. Seriously?!?! I scheduled an appointment & after she starts my pedicure, she asks me to get up & let someone else go ahead of me because she made a mistake?!?!? This is a great place to get your nails done. They take their time and do a really great job. I have had my nails done at other places and it never lasts as long as when I get them done at L’Amour. The technicians are very nice, they remember your name and you get your own box with your own nail kit so less chance of infections, etc. I highly recommend Jane she is the best!
