I brought my husband in for his birthday today. We had a couples massage which I thought would be a wonderful experience especially on short notice. For him it was a good experience. His massage therapist put him to sleep, my therapist a male, had rough hands, long nails and he acted like he was either slapping on lotion or rapidly shoving me around the table like meat. I could literally feel how much he hates his work. He didn’t seem trained apnd certainly had no technique. He was rubbing so fast on me he was making me extremely nervous. I asked for him to slow down multiple times and my husband’s therapist had to explain what I said to him. I just started nervously laughing when he just continued after being asked to stop. I literally disassociated and stared off for the rest of the massage it was so tremendously unpleasant. I didn’t want to complain or cause a scene since it was my husband’s birthday, but had I been by myself I would have left instead of enduring this awfulness. Needless to say I paid but didn’t tip a cent. Sadly it was the worst massage I ever had in my life. After we left my husband also admitted that his therapist had no technique either and he only fell asleep because he was exhausted from moving this past week and it was dark in the room. He didn’t want to hurt my feelings since I’d tried to give him a nice and relaxing experience for his birthday after a hard week. The only plus to all of this was they gave us clean linen.

I highly recommend going here. Called in and got an appointment very quickly! I received the 30 minute foot reflexology treatment, and it was wonderful. The location is small and quaint, and the relaxing spa music and sounds of flowing water kept me at ease. My massage therapist was very kind, and my feet feel so much better! I got even more than I expected. Great experience. 🙂

Omg Best experience! Susie was so welcoming upon arrival. She shared other promotions and services there – for informational purposes, no pressure. My therapist was amazing! I had the chair and foot massage combo. She focused on areas of tension on my back and shoulders and leaned in to help relax the area. She checked in with me a couple of times regarding pressure and my comfort. The entire experience was wonderful. I’d definitely go back.

I go to Lam Lua for a massage every 2 weeks and always ask for FANNY. They just increased their prices from $60 to $70 per hour. I paid her $80. She said her tip should’ve been 20%. This is the first time I have been told by anyone how much I should tip them. I won’t be back and neither will my aunt who also goes there.

Received a incredibly bizarre, uncomfortable, and painful massage. Asked for a regular back and neck massage but ended with the masseuse sticking her finger inside of my ear and poking it around, her slapping my feet and picking them up and dropping them repeatedly, and massaging on the spine which is painful and is specifically supposed to be avoided during a massage. However she spoke no English so there was no way for me to communicate what was wrong. I can guarantee whoever massaged me was not licensed as she had no concept of what a massage was even supposed to look like.

This is my favorite place to fit an unexpected massage opportunity in my day. Sometimes it’s hard to know a week in advance if my schedule will allow and with four LMTs they tend to have flexibility. Still, calling ahead is a good idea if you don’t have an appointment, and Susie is super at scheduling.
