Would not recommend!!! Beware of overcharging! I would not return here at all. They gave me a price quote of $180 for crotchet braids, then charged me an extra $70 to blow dry and for the added hair. They waited until the end to tell me they charge $20 to blow dry (my hair was dry just needed to be touched up) and how much the hair cost. Also the woman braided very tight and I had to tell her more than once it was tight. SMDH

I’m glad I’m fully vaccinated! When I got there, they were ready to start my hair (one of the reasons they got 2 stars). They also was wearing a mask. But when I woke up after falling asleep in the chair, I woke up to the mother and daughter talking over me without masks. In times today, especially in NY, I need us all to be respectful to each other and wear a mask. Next, the hairstyle that I sent them I wanted versus what they gave me were not the same! Was the hairstyle I got worth the money, yes (the other reason why I gave them 2 stars). But it made me be in the chair longer than I wanted with more hair than I wanted to maintain. AND MY SCALP HURT! But that’s a given with new braids. At the end of the day, I will not visit this shop again.

Positive: Punctuality, QualityI’ve been multiple times and they do an amazing job every time but I feel like the prices are a bit too high I wanted box braid just half since I have an under cut and the wanted me to pay 180 and I didn’t agree with that because i would be using less hair and it’s less time. More than half my back is gone. But the braids do come out amazing. I’ve been multiple times and they do an amazing job every time but I feel like the prices are a bit too high I wanted box braid just half since I have an under cut and the wanted me to pay 180 and I didn’t agree with that because i would be using less hair and it’s less time. But while taking my hair out my hair was literally stuck to the weave because it was in a small tiny knot ! Daughter does great hair but the mother, owner, lies just to get you there. I had an appointment with the daughter and it wasn’t until it was time to get my hair braided that she told me the daughter wasn’t available. Now I’m stuck with hair undone. Leaving out of town today. Gonna be impossible to find someone to do it last minute.
