Not only was she beyond sweet, accommodating and professional, but my updo was PERFECT! I had shown her a photo of what I was hoping it would look like, and she was able to replicate the look in a little over an hour. I would recommend her to any bride or person getting their hair done, especially if they are being photographed, because she made it look beautiful in the front and the back (most stylists only focus on the back which doesn’t help with photos!) I was lucky enough to book Elena last minute for an updo for my elopement. Not only was she beyond sweet, accommodating and professional, but my updo was PERFECT! I had shown her a photo of what I was hoping it would look like, and she was able to replicate the look in a little over an hour. I have been going to Kitty and now Xylo for about 10 years and I feel badly I have not take a moment to write a review until now. Not only are both of these artists amazingly talented, the salon are so welcoming, so pleasant, and so relaxing. Every experience I have had has been stellar! And – they are now an Aveda salon too, which is such great news. This is the best salon in Jersey City – hands down. I have been going to Kitty and now Xylo for about 10 years and I feel badly I have not take a moment to write a review until now. Not only are both of these artists amazingly talented, the salon are so welcoming, so pleasant, and so relaxing. Every experience I have had has been stellar! Xylo has been cutting my lobs for a while now— she’s overall wonderful, personable, and great at styling. During the pandemic I came in early August. They took my temp and provided me a stringless mask which they custom made so ir doesn’t get in the way of the hair styling, I thought that was pretty cool. I have been going to la koet for a few years! So happy to see the expansion to deux. Xylo has been cutting my lobs for a while now— she’s overall wonderful, personable, and great at styling. During the pandemic I came in early August.
