Lakeside Spa and Salon

Positive: ProfessionalismThis was a wonderful, relaxing afternoon with my good friend visiting from Long Island. We spent 2 1/2 days on the island walking, hiking & biking. So, we looked forward to our afternoon at the spa where we spent 30 minutes in the sauna prior to our massages, mini facials & cherry almond pedicures. Between treatments we enjoyed their serene relaxation area withcomfy oversized furniture and soft lighting & music. Many thanks to the staff members who provided our services and the ladies at the reception desk. Each were welcoming, personable and professional. Positive: ProfessionalismAll I really wanted out of my visit to Mackinac was relaxation and it’s exactly what the Lakeside ladies gave us. Every inch of the spa was gleaming and serene. Our welcome was like being invited into another world, one with exotic fragrances and calming imagry. We never felt rushed and always felt as though we were the only clients throughout our stay. There was a large wedding group when we were there so I’m sure the staff worked hard to make us all feel special. They even gave extra attention to a little girl who was too tired to have her scheduled mani-pedi. She walked away so happy with her own little nail kit because the staff made sure she was attended to. I’m looking forward to scheduling my next visit to be pampered again by these amazing professionals. All I really wanted out of my visit to Mackinac was relaxation and it’s exactly what the Lakeside ladies gave us. Every inch of the spa was gleaming and serene. Our welcome was like being invited into another world, one with exotic fragrances and calming imagry. We never felt rushed and always felt as though we were the only clients throughout our stay. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI am incredibly pleased with Lakeside Spa & Salon. Tiffany is fabulous, to say the least. I was having a major issue with extreme pain in my left forearm, which my primary doctor attributed to a torn flexor muscle. Tiffany worked some magic and actually explained that what I was feeling was referred pain from somewhere else in my back and shoulder. She worked on my back and shoulders and for the first time in over a month, I was completely pain free. She was extremely professional and compassionate and did a great job educating me as well. Typically, I have extremely sensitive skin, and break out from anything touching me, but the products they used were amazing quality and my skin remained clear. The spa has a great atmosphere, and it’s quite clear that their Massage Therapists are extremely well versed in their medical knowledge. I am incredibly pleased with Lakeside Spa & Salon. Tiffany is fabulous, to say the least. I was having a major issue with extreme pain in my left forearm, which my primary doctor attributed to a torn flexor muscle. Tiffany worked some magic and actually explained that what I was feeling was referred pain from somewhere else in my back and shoulder. She worked on my back and shoulders and for the first time in over a month, I was completely pain free. She was extremely professional and compassionate and did a great job educating me as well. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI got married at mission point this fall and mission point did an amazing job on everything. However, my mom booked manicures for me and my bridesmaids and we did not have a pleasant experience. The nail techs were nice but seemed to be inexperienced. The manicures were painful and most of them came out sloppy. My nails chipped within a few hours and I tried to get the nails touched up before my wedding the next day but Jaycee did not make that simple request easy. Long story short, my sister ended up touching up my nails after we were ignored well past the time I was supposed to be outside for my first look. My mom was charged for 2 girls that did not even come and get their nails done. After we questioned why we got charged it was a hassle and we were rudely ridiculed that my mom never answered the email to confirm and they charged anyways. Jaycee was extremely demeaning and rude.
