DISAPPOINTING! I’ve been getting my nails done at salons for over 25 years. I’ve been to various salons all over the Baton Rouge area. Some are great, some not so much. I’ve thought for years that Lake Point nails was a good salon. They always took good care of me and did beautiful nails. Until today. I recently went to them (5 days ago) and had the usual gel nails and toe polish done. All was good until yesterday. My nails began chipping and breaking. So I returned today to have them fixed. I requested dip powder since it has held up better in the past. They gladly obliged my request and did a wonderful job. Then they wanted to charge me full price for the ‘fix’. Hold on. I just spent $80 only 5 days ago. And who knows how much I have spent over the past several years. What happened to loyalty rewards and repeat customer service? I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a discount of some kind when a product doesn’t perform as expected. Not to mention I have never made such a request in the past. Ever. And when I explained this to the staff, they insisted on charging the full price. So. Lesson learned. I won’t be back. Attention Lake Point: I will be spending my money elsewhere from now on.
