It’s always hard moving to a new place and looking for a new hair stylist, but Taylor at Lake Lure Salon gave me the best haircut I’ve possibly ever had! She sat me down before shampooing to see how my hair naturally looks, and listened to all of my concerns and how I wanted my hair to look, and she made it happen! I would HIGHLY recommend!!

It’s a very nice place, and folks are friendly. However, I gave very detailed and careful instructions regarding how I wanted my hair cut, ‘I want to comb it back and have long hair that stops just at my shirt collar.’ I had been wearing my hair quite long for several years and saved the removed pony tail to give to my granddaughters. I relaxed and enjoyed the conversation as the barber worked. When it was finished and I looked in the hand mirror I was shocked to find that my hair had been cut very short, entirely different than I had instructed. If you go there for a cut be certain you draw a picture of what you want done, and monitor the work.
