Long story short: they cut my hand a bit and the nails were not good. The experience has been less than ideal. This was my first time at Lafayette Nail Spa and it has been a few years since I have gone to a place to have my nails done so I’m a little rustic on remembering the process. Anyways I had appointment for I a pedicure as well as manicure (just simple regular polish for both). The lady for the pedicure was pretty good. When she was about to do my hands, someone called her away and said someone requested her so I was pawned off to another lady which was no big deal. The second lady was very rough and actually cut me a bit when doing the cuticles on my left thumb. I felt something hurt when she was doing cuticles on my left thumb and looked down it was red. Where it’s red it’s not the actual cuticles so I think she just took more than what she was supposed off in the rush (which idk why). Despite it hurting, although in very small amount it did bleed and I can see the tiny blood vessel going to the cut. Pictures attached. And after the hands were done, she brought me to the table to dry my hands. And that’s where she just left me with no instructions or anything, so I just waited there with my hands under the light on the table to dry. Other customers have came and went from the table, their artist had a timer or something and when it went they told the customer they are done. Where as the lady I had just ignored me once she left me at the table. I waited at least a good 15min and other customers that have set down after me were done and left and I was still at the table with no one saying anything. Eventually I just got up and went to the front desk to pay and leave. I told the lady at the front desk that I think I’m done since I’ve just been sitting there for awhile and no one said anything or came to check on anything, and that the lady who did my manicure cut me a bit. She asked me who it was I just told where she set since I don’t know any names and I showed the lady at front desk the cut. She said it could look red like that from them doing cuticles. I just paid and left. Where the cut is located is not the cuticles, so I still believe it was just error that she was going so fast and cut more than she was supposed to. Never in my life before when I had my nails done this had happened, I don’t think it’s just normal from the cuticles and it actually hurt and bled. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience, felt ignored/neglected and the nails itself were not very good either (pictures attached).

So I came to get my nails done before I go on vacation. I left really disappointed this time. I didn’t get who I scheduled my appointment with. My nails are crooked and pointing up to the sky. I told him numerous times thru out that they were crooked and he wouldn’t listen. He was very aggressive with my hands. I was just completely shocked. They were really thick and the paint was really bad. I went in today and had Alex at the nail spa repaint and shape them. He did such a great job!!! They almost feel like my real nails after he reshaped them. I’ve never had such nice nails in my life. This place is the best in town. Everyone is so kind and they all do fantastic work. I had gotten my nails done at a different salon the day before. I wasn’t happy with them. They were really thick and the paint was really bad. I went in today and had Alex at the nail spa repaint and shape them. He did such a great job!!! They almost feel like my real nails after he reshaped them. I’ve never had such nice nails in my life. This place is the best in town. Everyone is so kind and they all do fantastic work. I have tried lots of places in town and I will only ever be going to this salon in the future!

First time at this place & this is definitely a place I will be coming back to for now on! I do recommend making an appointment before heading there they do get booked quickly during the day & they do turn people away because they are booked with people with appointments! Terrible service! Go somewhere else! This was my first and last time here! The man finished my polish and then attempted to slip on the flip flop shoe while tagging my toe. I pointed it out ms asked him to fix it, he acted like it was no big deal and added a chunk of polish back over it then left and moved on to someone’s else. Meanwhile hearing another customer literally crying about their awful service I decided no to throw a fit as well… I got by time I made it to my car these were the results after sitting under the dryer for about 30 minutes!! Never again will I go to these awful people!! I advise you to look elsewhere too!!

I drove from Russiaville because this place had great reviews. I haven’t indulged in some me time in a really long while. Made an appointment in the morning for 4:45 on a Friday. I knew it would be busy and I arrived 5 minutes early and I was surprisingly in a chair by my appointment time Came in for my birthday and I was not disappointed! Holly took great care of me, deluxe pedi(added wax), really gentle but still thorough, didn’t feel rushed at all. She was kind, clear on what I was asking for, and patient. I tried dip powder for the first time on my natural nails. Holly did beautifully on them as well. I am sold on dip powder! Worth every penny! Salon was also clean and a relaxing environment regardless of being busy. Will go back

Busy on a Sunday they were going back and forth between people from manicure to pedicures. I love the glitter gel polish so shiny with just the flash off my phone. $40 for the gel color and to get a pedicure on the side for someone else it was $80.

I have been there once before and Rose did my nails and did a good job, so I requested her for my second appointment. I got there around 3:20 for my appointment with Rose at 3:45. I sat there for about 20 minutes and then watched her take someone else before me. About 30 min after my appointment, I said I would take whoever could do my nails. Then 45 minutes passed so I told the receptionist I’ll just wait for Rose since I had been waiting so long. She ended up taking 3 people between the time I got there and then I left AN HOUR later. I waited for an entire hour after my scheduled appointment and watched her take multiple people before me. I tried to be patient and kind , but after this I won’t be returning.
