This is ridiculous!!! Need to just close this shop completely. I used to love this place but now unprofessional. NEVER ON TIME. On door says open at 11am til 6pm. I get here at 1030 and here it’s now 12:03p and NOBODY here. I’m just done with them!!!

They couldn’t speak English to a point to where I asked for the coffin shape several times and I came out with oval. My nails are all different sizes .Also she charged me $15 for a fill-in and then another lady came in and she said it would be 25 for her fill-in.

This is a horrible spot Amy and Tammy since they work as one should be terminated immediately!!! I went to both sister previously but stayed with Amy. I took a break from getting the designed nails that I usually get and tried to schedule an appointment. Immediately Amy asked for picture of my nails. She didn’t remember me but I sent this appointment from previous text messages. I felt that was odd but did so anyways. She declined my service because she felt I needed to let my nails grow and thicken( remember she does acrylic which is unhealthy for your nails, she does fill ins, take off and full set, she also had a pic of someone’s nails she did a couple of weeks ago that had no nail bed. )I tried to nicely understand why she refused service when the salon is dirty and as previously mentioned by another review they don’t sanitize enough. This was a complete shock and as a Black women I have never felt so disrespected, secluded in my life. I’ve been getting my nails done for 21 years and never experienced this.PLEASE ALL WOMEN OF COLOR AMY IS RACIST SHE ONLY LIKE FAIR COLOR WOMEN THIS ISNT MY FIRST ISSUE WITH HER. My first appointment she didn’t speak but interacted with her Caucasian customers. It was my first appointment. They are both rude and I’m going to do everything in my power to display this act of bias treatment. This had me crying please read the below texts and all women please let me know as hard as it is to be secure in this world something that should make you feel good about yourself shouldn’t make you feel horrible. Please all women stand up for fair treatment. She provides a service and it should be for all people. Her arguments didn’t make sense. She does unhealthy work all acrylic makes nails soft she was trying to cop out and she found the wrong Lady to mess with. 2nd PICTURE IS MY NAILS 1st PIC IS WHAT WAS ON HER IG PAGE. SIDE NOTE: they deleted the pic of they’re customer with nails shorter than mine. These where my nails. Dont worry i will repost!

Amy is a joy to be receiving services from! She is professional, prompt, and a very kind hearted woman. On top of all of that she is amazing at what she does! By far one of the best nail technicians I’ve encountered in Richmond. I am a AFRICAN AMERICAN woman and I’ve ALWAYS felt welcomed by her. She is able to answer and questions or concerns regarding the health of my nails and I respect her professional and knowledgeable advice! She is creative and innovative and I would never go to anyone else! I pass a ton of nail shops traveling from Chesterfield to Williamsburg Road but I would never stop at any other place! The 35 min drive is always worth it! She is honest and fair and shows respect to her clients! Anyone who thinks differently are mad because they obviously couldn’t have their way! Thank you to Amy for all of her hard work and dedication to her craft and her clients!

For my first time the service was bad. The man that did my nails clearly was not ready to be at work that day.It was so obvious that he was tired because he was FALLING ASLEEP!! Luckily He didn’t mess my nails up. But other than that the shop was decent far as how it was cleaned but they do need more nail polish because some are dried out. If anyone decides they would want to go there get Amy or Tammy to do them but you may need to set an appointment.

I’m giving two stars simply for Jordan and Amy who do an amazing job. I unfortunately did not have time to schedule with either of them HOWEVER the nail techs who accept walk ins should know how to do styles requested or at least simply say they can’t and refer to someone else in the salon. It’s an older gentleman in there that cannot do ombré or paint really well to be honest. He was falling asleep while doing my nails and was clearly sick as a dog. And still had the nerve to charge $60 for the full set. No designs or add ons. I’ve gotten more for less with Amy. There’s too much acrylic on two of my nails which is making them appear fatter than the rest. Just a horrible job. I also noticed there are more staffed than displayed licenses. So i wouldn’t doubt he is not a licensed nail tech. Just completely not satisfied and i will not be coming without an appointment with either Amy or Jordan or even Tammy.

I have been visiting Amy for the past few months now and I have had a wonderful experience. You really should know what you want prior to going into your appt. I wear acrylic nails and Amy does a good job with neatness and shape. Her designs are amazing as she takes her work very seriously! (shes traveled to learn different techniques) I love the appt based scheduling as I am busy often and walk-ins don’t fit my schedule. I do hope they develop a “loyalty” program as I send many people here for Amy and Tammy’s services!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Lady Nails!!! Everyone is super welcoming and sweet. Amy is my tech and she is so talented, creative and she always gives me exactly what I want. Even when my nails may mess up she always fixes them right away no questions asked. I live 45 minutes away but I’ll travel far and wide for my Amy. I love her!!!!
