Most awesome experience, a hero of the day kind. I travelled from Alabama to Michigan for a family emergency. I walked into the Novi location near closing, desperately in need of a cut because I had to leave Bama abruptly. I felt terrible walking in at last minute before closing. My Hero of the day, Violet, sensed my stress and urgency and told me no worries, I will take care of you. She did, and she was so kind, professional, personable, and most understanding and compassionate with my situation.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. The hairdresser was very unmotivated and grumpy and looked at the TV screen WHILE she cut my hair. She was also listening to music with headphones. In the end, she entered much more tip into the card reader than I actually said so I paid more. The haircut itself was okay, but it’s definitely not the service you want.

Told the stylist I wanted an inch taken off the front and top. For whatever reason they kept taking only 1/8th of an inch off at a time, then got annoyed when I kept repeating my original request. Then when I asked for a hand mirror to inspect the job they’d done, they claimed they didn’t have one, even though I’ve been offered one in the past at the same store.
