Lucy is a gem. She took me in on a Saturday to get my hair done for an event. I had flown in the night before and needed to get my hair done really bad. I called several salons in the area, but they either didn’t answer or didn’t sound like they knew how to do my hair.

Wow!!!! what a Dominican Blowout I was really impressed since I have long, curly, thick and frizzy hair and I don’t relax my hair at all. In my opinion this mom and pop hair salon it’s for anyone who is looking for high quality,conditioned, professional hair care at a reasonable cost for the area in Washington DC-VA area , the pricing is right for the level of care; what I noticed and I really really liked is that Lucy uses really good products which are important if you want your hair smelling good and looking good. Lucy will start you off with a massage using natural oils, followed by a good shampoo and a good conditioning session. She also offers an out of this world Caribbean Organic Deep Treatment mask that she makes from scratch using several natural oils, avocado and other natural ingredients that’s if you are in need of a deeper treatment which I recommend of course a little more $$$ but if you want to nourish, deep treat, conditioned and keep your hair healthy I highly recommend it without a doubt.

Awful do not go to this lady. She charged me $55 for a wash, blow, and straighten on short hair! I wouldn’t mind the price if my hair looked nice. My hair was very frizzy she didn’t straighten the roots or edges. I went home and finished where she left off. When she washes she is soo rough. My head was sore. I had to stop her at one point. Salon is in a dump and she charges these prices!!! Parking is hard to find but she might be able to get u a pass. Go to Kedus. Much better and affordable.
