An absolute hairdresser angel! I can only go to Malena from now on. After moving to Jacksonville I let my hair grow out and didn’t really know who to go to in order to fix what I had going on and my husband recommended Malena and I’m really glad he did. She worked her magic and my hair has never looked or felt better. I only gave her an idea of what I wanted and she went beyond my expectations and my hair still feels super soft even after all it went through. 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Came to see my aunt from AZ. My daughter wanted her hair colored and cut. The place we went was not familiar with Hispanic hair. Wrong color and chopped off my daughters hair uneven. Drove over an hour for Chama and Malena was AMAZING. She squeezed my daughter in. Got the color perfect and fixed the cut. Hands down THE BEST!!Most professional experience and great personality. I would recommend her to anyone! Wish I could fly her out to AZ to do my family’s hair.

I went in with a botched hair coloring, she was able to strip it and find a color with low and highlights that complements me perfectly. I’ve gotten tons of compliments from friends and family. Not only is she personable you can tell she loves what she does through her work. She takes her time to make sure it is right. Needless to say, she is now my go to girl for my entire family. I highly recommend!

Had an appointment for 10am for my daughter. We arrived a few minutes early but understood the business didn’t even open until 10am. It’s now after 10:45am. We are still sitting in the parking lot. The door is still locked, lights on inside but nobody is in there. We’ve tried calling but get no answer. Very unprofessional.

When I walked in she acknowledged me and had me in her chair within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time (and while I was waiting another technician checked on me as well). She did exactly what I asked for (flat iron and trim) the way I asked for it. She gave me her professional opinion but still did what I asked for in regards to the trim which was EXTREMELY important to me! If you have long hair and have had horror stories please consider Malena, she’s kind and doesn’t force conversation while your there but does keep conversation going if your more of the social type. She’s also patient and will take the time she needs with your hair so you don’t feel rushed. Either way she will make you feel comfortable. I’m so glad I went to her. I personally am not latina I am multiracial (black and white) and she did an amazing job with my hair. She didn’t use too much heat and she made sure she used enough conditioner and oil which is also extremely important to me. From start to finish I loved my experience at LaChama. Malena is amazing and I highly recommend her. When I walked in she acknowledged me and had me in her chair within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time (and while I was waiting another technician checked on me as well). She did exactly what I asked for (flat iron and trim) the way I asked for it. She gave me her professional opinion but still did what I asked for in regards to the trim which was EXTREMELY important to me!
