Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI stopped going to hairstylist after that one incident that caused me to lose all my edges. I found a worker here on instagram who had a lot of followers, and her work looked good (but boy can social media be a deception). I was 15 turning 16, and I wanted a lace frontal for my sweet 16. I made an appointment with the girl on instagram. She was not a licensed professional, which I later found out after my install. This worker did not do my hair well at all. My frontal was not bleached properly, lace was not plucked well, and she placed extremely dark makeup on my lace (which I did not notice until I left her salon and entered into natural lighting). The worker used Got2b Glue and Ghost-Bond Glue on my natural hair/edges, which no one should ever do. That caused my hair to break off, leaving me edgeless, Literally! I had to take down the install in less than like two weeks. For the price of $160, my hair was not washed, nor blowed out, nor bleached properly, or plucked, and her sew down was terrible! I received a lot of hair trauma from her install. I should have just gotten braids. I waisted so much of my birthday money here. I complained to the worker, seeing if we can resolve the issue, but she only gave me sad excuses, and told me that she was “sorry” and will do things differently on my next visit back. Like a young fool I told her I would be back, and decided to ask for braids instead of a weave, but don’t worry I never went back and will never. Now that I’m older I would like to take her to court for my hair loss. I treated my hair until some of my edges grew back, but I still have some thin areas in the front of my hair. Now I don’t trust anyone with my hair anymore, and I now do my hair on my own for cheap, and it looks 100x better than some of these so called stylist’s work. I refuse to waste money like that ever again. It is beyond Ridiculous!I stopped going to hairstylist after that one incident that caused me to lose all my edges.
