I am going to start with I cannot recommend Peggy and her team at labor of love highly enough. I had my 3rd home birth with Peggy a couple of month ago and I am just as pleased as I was with my other two experiences with Labor of Love. When I was pregnant with my first, I interviewed multiple midwives in the Matsu Valley, as soon as I meet Peggy I knew she was the right person for me. From prenatal care to birth and postnatal care, Peggy always made me feel confident, comfortable and paid attention to my needs. I had 3 home birth, 2 of them were rather difficult but Peggy and her team were highly professional and deal with the situation perfectly, made sure everyone was healthy and happy. I would absolutely recommend Labor of Love to anyone. Labor of Love also has a beautiful and clean birth center.

Labor of Love – where do I start? (First time mom) I cannot say enough good things about this place and Peggy. I contacted Peggy before I was pregnant and was provided prenatal care till I gave birth and after. From start to finish everything was excellent, I have zero critique or complaint, and I am someone who is picky about my health and who I let provide health care services to me. I could not imagine picking a more perfect midwife than Peggy, she respected every wish I had every step of the way and helped to make my birth amazing, and unforgettable. Peggy will be my midwife for any other birth I have, hands down. Peggy made me feel safe and confident through every step of pregnancy. If you are worried about a natural birth, and wonder if you can do it, you CAN, and Peggy is the perfect person to guide you through pregnancy and birth. Love you guys! Thank you so so much!!

Excellent care all the way through! I felt relaxed, comfortable, and respected at every appointment. It’s very family friendly. My other three kids were allowed at every visit and they were always ready to see me right away. Such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Professional staff, phenomenal facility, very clean with luxurious birthing rooms. We had the BEST experience with our first birth and cannot imagine our birth being anymore beautiful and natural. There is only one birthing center in my mind and this is it. People might not know it yet, but they want these ladies in their life. I am in LOVE with Labor of Love Midwifery. Thank you Peggy, Audrey and Tami!

Unfortunately, the midwives did it not answer their phone when I went into labor @ 3AM. I also tried the emergency number that’s as provided, in which was told “we don’t service that provider” and then hung up on. My husband had to last minute rush me to the hospital, where our baby was born safe and healthy. This was our last baby and I wanted nothing more than to have her at a birthing center (really wanted a water birth!)

So far highly impressed. The staff is beyond friendly, and caring. The rooms are extremely clean, and peaceful. They have been very attentive to my fiance, and seem to genuinely care for her and the baby’s well being. So far they have earned every star.

Peggy has been amazing. We used her for our daughter born in 2012. Peggy came to our house, in Anchorage at the time, because my wife was on bed rest for nearly the entire pregnancy. Kayla was born two days before Peggy could legally deliver her. She came to our house at 1am on a Sunday morning and then let us know when it was time to go to Providence. She stayed with us for the 18 hours til our daughter was born. She also didn’t bill us for this time. Having her during the labor at the hospital was vital as we didn’t have a working knowledge of what to say yes and no to.

I have toured a couple of different birthing centers and loved this place. The set up they have is great and the staff is very welcoming. None of the staff is pushy. The staff is supportive in any direction I want to go in my first child birth. Peggy has been there for me with any silly first prenancy questions I have had.
