Yesterday I came to this salon for the first time and I had a wonderful experience! Stylish salon, very clean, friendly staff. Tina did an amazing job with my hair! She knows exactly how to achieve the right color for you hair! Perfect color, perfect cut. The next time I’ve already scheduled a manicure & pedicure with them, I am sure that all this will be done also professionally! Highly recommend!

I am new to Texas and so happy I found Tina! She has given me the perfect long layers and knew exactly what to do with my color. I wanted it a little lighter on the ends but also wanted an all over color on my roots to cover my grays. It turned out perfect. My boys have seen several of the stylists at La V’s and have all had great cuts. This place is a gem!

Very bad experience with this salon! This was my first visit here. I showed Min the reference photo I attached below of how I wanted my hair to look. My hair was actually longer than in that photo when I arrived. I requested baby highlights & lowlights. We went over the color & she began. I noticed after about the 4th foil that she only had a highlight bowl. I then asked why she wasn’t adding the lowlights. She stated she would add them at the end. What??? Should have been the first very big red flag I guess. She then said I will color all of the hair that is not highlighted with the lowlights…um no! That is not a lowlight…that is coloring my whole head. I fully explained that I want baby highlights & baby lowlights so that it will blend naturally. She says she understands. She used cheap self torn foils that were clearly not meant for hair, when she went to rinse out the color she was ripping the hair out of my head with these painful foils! She then proceeded to dry my hair. I ask her at that point “are you trimming my hair dry?” To which she replied do you want layers. I then say “well, I have textured long layers, do they look like they should be trimmed too?” She then puts the dryer down like she was annoyed & began cutting. She asked me how much I wanted it trimmed. I replied no more than an inch. The pictures I posted speak for themselves. I left with over 4 inches cut off the back 6 inches gone from the front all chopped up and uneven. Rather than textured layers, a hack job of choppy blunt layers & the bottom edges thinned looking terrible. My lowlights are chunky & not even. I called to request a refund & was asked to come back in for Tina to try and “fix” the bad haircut. Unfortunately you cannot fix that much lost hair! She tried to even it out but I am devastated. To top it off I took my son for his haircut yesterday & his hairdresser sat me in her chair to show me how terribly uneven the cut still was & tried to even it out for me for free. Tina offered for me to come back for a free haircut in the future, but honestly I wouldn’t recommend anyone get service at this salon. To add insult to injury, she charged me $250 for this terrible service but thought she was giving me a great deal with a 20% discount from online. I have never paid over $180 for cut & color in Cypress. They should have done the right thing and refunded me for their damage to my hair. It will take me years to get that much hair back as I have autoimmune disease and my hair does not grow well. This salon should be very embarrassed for this poor quality service!

I got balayage for years and when Covid hit I started dying it dark brown (my natural color). My hair always pulled red tones before and I showed Tina a picture of what I wanted. She listened to everything I liked and didn’t like about the picture and took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I was there from 11:30-4:30 because I have very long thick hair and she was the only person who touched it. Many other salons you pay for a certain colorist and they are with you for 30 min to apply color then their assistants do the rest. Not with Tina. I have her the option to skip styling because I knew it would easily be another hour of her time but she insisted she finish it because she loves to see the finished product and loves what she does. She is so kind too. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem!

My experience at La V’s Hair Salon was outstandingly amazing so hair me out! I came in with a grown out balayage hair that had at least 4 shades different shades of blonde. The challenging part of this is that I wanted a uniform ombre blonde head…and THEY DELIVERED IT beautifully as the predicted result we agreed on. I loved that during consultation, Tina was very knowledgeable and honest about how different shades of blonde would affect the current condition of my hair. Min was the one working on my hair, it was a lot of work needed to be done. Because my hair needed color correction, she was very mindful and extremely careful working through my hair the whole time. I feel like each and every strand of my hair was being cared for. I believe the result I got is what makes La V’s Hair Salon unique from the previous salons I went to. I’ve been trying to achieve this shade of blonde with other salons, but hadn’t been able to until now. What is more important is that my hair is still healthy afterwards, and even now the color still glowing. I would recommend this salon and would definitely come back in the future for other services. I will let the pictures speak for themselves!

Before and after shots of my visit to La V’s hair salon today! I woke up not feeling like myself so I went to get my hair done and Vinnie was so amazing. He was so patient and kind. I was the only customer there for most of my time so everyone there was constantly checking to see how my hair would turn out and they love it but not as much as I do! Definitely will be going back and thank you again to the entire staff for helping me feel like myself again!

How in the world have I lived in this area for 2 years and yet missed this unicorn of a place for so long??! I LOVE IT! They cut my daughters hair a couple weeks ago and I thought “huh, looks great? I wonder how they do on adult cuts??” Well I’m literally BLOWN AWAY! Just check out the results! By the way, this was cut by Daniel!! I’ll be asking for him when I come next. But honestly- I’ve seen it with my own eyes, all the stylists here are amazingly talented.
