Critical: ProfessionalismBeauty Redefined lost a good client because of their own ineptitude and dishonest and disrespectful behavior. I paid for a series of laser treatment, and for the second treatment, I wanted to add an “area.” I was told an extra 1/2 hour would be needed when I scheduled the second treatment (at the end of the first treatment, and in person at the desk), I was scheduled for the full 1.5 hours needed for the original area, plus one extra area. When they called to confirm the appointment, they “knew nothing of the extra area” and “had to move my appointment because another client had just scheduled for that extra 1/2 hour.” I informed them of their error, and they said they would call me back to find out if I actually needed the extra 1/2 hour or not. They didn’t call me back and then the proceeded to charge me a fee for a “no-show” even though I told them I wasn’t coming in unless they could either honor the original 1.5 hour booked or reschedule. I then called when I received the charge, and they said “oh, you didn’t need the extra 1/2 hour in the first place – who told you that?” Well.. the answer was “you did.. at the desk, when I scheduled.” Very unprofessional and money gauging. I very much liked my technician who performed the laser appointment, but the business manager is very unprofessional and made me feel as if they are desperate for money – so much that they are willing to force a collection fee by charging my credit card unauthorized instead of keeping a client. It’s outright fraudulent behavior.
