I have been coming to this salon for about 2 years now and I love them! It’s a beautiful salon with nail techs who can do any design! They are nice and very gentle. They listen to your wants for your service. Although they are busy it’s for good reason! They are wonderful! Ni is an amazing tech ad well as Mai. All their techs are great! You should make an appointment with them ASAP! Plus they have free coffee.

First and foremost I want to express how well Jessica did with my shellac manicure. When and if I return, it will be to work with her. As for my shellac pedicure done by another worker, I am disappointed with the quality. When I got home I quickly noticed the lack of attention to detail. My pinkie toes were a heavily disregarded both in shaping and polish. I was also left with one toe where polish was placed in the shape that the nail should have been cut to match. For spending over $100+$25 to treat myself for my birthday, I regrettably can’t leave a raving review.

I got a dip powder set of nails and a pedicure. It was easy to book online and my appt started on time. The nail tech did a great job on my nails but did cut me once and my thumb nails feels unstable but ill see how it holds up. The drill bit with my blood on it was not disinfected and put back in its case. I think this is common procedure for nail salons. My nails were dipped directly in the powder instead of a pour over and discarding the used powder.I asked about bringing my own tools bought from them or their supplier so I could disinfect them and bring them with me such as clippers files, drill bits, powders. The nail tech said yes then ran off not giving me more info or telling me to talk to the owner. I asked again at the front desk and they seemed like I was majorly inconviencing them. Maybe it was too busy to help me right then. I would like to find a salon that is serious about disinfecting or will work with me to bring my own tools. Otherwise I will just continue to do my nails at home.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for about two years consistently. For the last 8 months it seems like the care from the technicians keeps getting more poor, the attitude you get when you say you don’t quite want “long” nails is getting more obvious not just towards me but you can hear them treat other guests with this request the same. When you ask for help on a color it’s as if it’s an inconvenience to them. When you have questions about the color you are trying to choose they are very short, and act like we are holding them up. The last times I’ve gone to La Vie, I’ve been rushed and when asked if the nails are filed to my liking, if I say anything they argue back as to why I am wrong and there job was done right. And very very grudgingly “make the adjustments”. I feel like I’m inconveniencing them to get the nails I want and will be happy with. I’ve left with cuts from there drills and my dip chipping within days and don’t have the nerve to go in there because I honestly don’t want the passive customer service. I keep hoping it’s something that they will work on and I think after my recent visit I have decided to not book appointments here in the future. Unfortunately. I use to love coming here, because the customer service used to be excellent. But that has changed a ton! Seeing them treat other customers like so is also a reason why I am writing this review. Hope they can keep to there prices and stop charging $5 plus for “adjustments to there work” that didn’t use to have a charge or fee.

I came in yesterday to get a mani/pedi for my brother’s wedding. I was able to book an appointment for the same day! I got a gel pedicure and I got a dip powder manicure. Their gel selection is a little small but their dip powder collection is huge! So many colors to pick from. My nail tech was able to use an inspiration photo for a French Dip mani and helped me pick out the perfect shade of pink and a little extra sparkle! I forgot to write down my nail techs name but she was so wonderful and did both my mani and pedi.

I requested the girl who does designs and i waited 30-40 minutes after my appointment to get any service from her to start doing my nails even though there were about 2 other girls that could start on me while she was finishing with her other client. the nails took 2 hours. they looked amazing once they were done but it’s been 2 days since i got them done and the gel is already peeling.

I’ve been going here since July 2020 and really like the service I’ve received. I get a full set of dip on real nails every 30 days. Every time I’ve gotten dip in the past from other places it’s lifted within 7 days, these nails last so long it’s amazing! Yes they do lightly sand the top of the nail with a rotary tool, I was worried about this (I have thin nails) but I’ve not had any issues. I am rough on my hand, I’m a jewelry artist and constantly working on craft projects and these nails last. Once my hand slipped, breaking a nail opening the car door two days after I had gotten a new set. I went back in expecting to pay for a repair and they kindly fixed it for free.
