Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueHorrible customer service. They kept saying my hair was similar to what I showed them, when clearly it was not. Instead of fixing it they kept washing my face and then showed it to me like it’s a new color. They tried nothing to fix my hair at all. All they know how to do is blonde hair. If you go for different color hair they just screw it up. Stuff happens, and it doesn’t always go perfect. But I don’t appreciate it when they don’t care if I’m happy with the result or not. When I asked my hairdresser if she was happy with the result even she couldn’t say it was good. Now I have to stay with a hair that I cannot walk around without a hat for at least a week to get it fixed.Horrible customer service. Horrible customer service. They kept saying my hair was similar to what I showed them, when clearly it was not. Instead of fixing it they kept washing my face and then showed it to me like it’s a new color. They tried nothing to fix my hair at all. All they know how to do is blonde hair. That’s a long time to be a loyal and dedicated customer, so when I leave this review it wasn’t a decision I made lightly. She recently highlighted my hair and destroyed it. My hair was 3 inches long in some places on my head from the hair burning off, the photos are not pretty. I called her personally to tell her what happen because I didn’t want to cause a situation at her job, that was my own fault. She dismissed the issue and said I should use some hair masks. She fried off multiple spots and portions of my hair, which are completely noticeable once I’ve washed and styled my hair. Her solution was HAIR MASKS? Mind you she didn’t offer I come in for a treatment or anything, she told me to do it on my own. My mother went to see her after my disaster (also a dedicated customer) & she simply excused the situation saying the salon books her for a lot of people at a time so she needed to process me quickly …. at the expense of RUINING my hair. She had no remorse towards what she did and simply wanted to point the blame somewhere else. I’m honestly disgusted by her professionalism towards this and hope this serves as a warning to other clients.Again I wish there was a photo drop option because the pictures of my hair speak for themselves.I have been going to Sylvia for 9 years to get my hair highlighted. I have been going to Sylvia for 9 years to get my hair highlighted. That’s a long time to be a loyal and dedicated customer, so when I leave this review it wasn’t a decision I made lightly. She recently highlighted my hair and destroyed it. My hair was 3 inches long in some places on my head from the hair burning off, the photos are not pretty. She dryed my hair and curled it, I didnt ask for that service I thought it is included with hair color, she charge me $50 for curl and $30 for drying, I did not know, no one ask me if I want that service. I paid for toner separately this place cares about money then ur need.My roots r flat with flimsy curl, thank God she didn’t use hairspray, it would’ve cost another $20. Just go somewhere else, this place service was not worth it, if u think u like this place then you haven’t seen good service and good work. Btw, she was too rough with brushing my hair, it was painful experience.
