I came here for the first time in Nov of 2021 for box braids and my experience was AMAZING!! everyone was so nice and my stylist listened to me and did as I ask. I requested that she not braid tight around my edges and she did as so. she was fast and I felt as if I had been coming there for years. I am going back May 28, 2022 and I am looking forward to another GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Nice shop, but the owner will change price everytime. Prices are never consistent. The owner ask me what did I pay for my hair last time I said 220 she said not here, you paid 260. I have never paid 260 for braids and I didn’t even get waist length braids. Thank goodness for receipts.

I was in need of a braided style asap. I called and luckily they had a cancelation. They are the most pleasant stylist. The atmosphere is fantastic. The salon is very clean and there is a beauty supply ( great prices) located on the premises as well. Very disappointing experience with this salon but thankful! I booked an appointment for my daughter to have her hair braided (as a surprise) the day before her birthday. At the time of booking I requested that the stylist wear a mask. Mabel warmly stated it was no problem. I received a call the day before the appointment from Mabel where she stated her stylist Evelyn (along with all other staff in salon) are refusing to wear masks because “they are vaccinated, tired of masks and it’s a free country.” I’m glad I didn’t waste my time and was forewarned so that I can find stylists in the Raleigh area who care about not just themselves- but those they serve. ♀️
