after being disappointed by my usual place, i decided to try La Perla after seeing some of their work on Instagram. the building itself is very nice, very clean, nicely decorated, and provides a relaxing environment. i had an appointment scheduled for 3:30 and my hands weren’t even touched until 4:15. that’s my only complaint though. as you can see in the photo, my nails were absolutely perfect! Lynn did an incredible job and has an amazing eye for detail. i will say they were pretty pricey but, i did have designs on every nail and the work was very high quality so it was worth it! i will definitely be coming back sometime

We made an appointment online on a Wednesday, and got right in at our appointment time on Friday. We had 2 princess (child) pedicures, and 2 adult pedicures. Everything was extremely clean, and very chic with how it was decorated. I got the pedicure with the sugar scrub, and it was amazing! We live in Springfield but we will make the drive back to this salon every time. Very impressed!!

Very clean, large selection of color for nails. Helen does my nails and I couldn’t be happier with her work. Helen pays attention to detail and goes above and beyond expectations to make sure my nails are perfect. Prices are competitive with other salons in the area but the customer service, quality of service exceeds all others in the area. Highly recommend LaPerla Nails for all your nail needs and Helen to perform the service. I get my nails dipped and they last for about 4 weeks with no breakage.

OMG!!! I’ve been to a few nail salons around and this one is by far one of the best out of all of them. My nail tech was Lynn and I would 100% recommend requesting this lady when you visit. This was my very first appointment at their salon with her and it was AMAZING. Lynn was SO nice and SO accommodating – she even helped me match my nail color design to the pictures of the bathing suits I’m wearing for my vacation! This will be my new spa 🙂 My only critique would be the squeaky massage chairs in the pedicure area (not all that bad, just noticed). I’ll definitely be coming back to get my 20% discount for my birthday. They have a “day-restriction” of seven days within the date of your b-day; just fyi!!!

I came in today as I have done before. I enjoy the atmosphere that’s why I enjoy coming. I stopped coming for my nails because they never do them right but they do awesome pedicures. Today was a different story. I wasn’t offered any wine like I usually am offered. The technician that worked on my feet never asked me what shaped I wanted. She seemed upset that wasn’t getting gel on my toes. She scrapped my pinky toe and she cut my nails down to the nail bed. When I told her several times my pinky toe was burning she ignored me. You can clearly see through my polish. When I asked for a manager they just came over looked and talked to her. They didn’t attempt to correct this situation. She rushed my pedicure and my right pinky is still burning. Nothing was fixed about this situation.

I had 2 less than pleasurable experiences and was almost ready to give up and write a very lengthy review about it BUT…. I requested LYNN this time per the reviews I read and I was not at all disappointed. My nails are PERFECT!!!! She did such a fantastic job and the foot massage almost put me to sleep. She is the only person thay can touch my nails and feet from here on out. Thank you Lynn for everything1/23 Again and again my nails exceed expectations. I wanted to post this pic because I absolutely love this color and how sparkly it is. The only negative this time was, I had to wait almost 40 min after my scheduled appointment to actually get service. Being that I am a single mom of 3 and a full time RN, I did not appreciate the wait and was late picking up a kid from basketball. I expressed that my time is important and a phone call would be appreciated if they were running behind. It seemed to be received well but we’ll see. Well, I thought that this would be a great nail salon to go to! The place was beautiful, the wait time was a little long but salons usually are. The lady doing my nails was very kind and gave me what I wanted! Unfortunately the set of nails I got were over $100, at other places this length and style are not more than $80. I did not have $100 because I expected them to be less like they are at other places. I told the man checking me out that I would get the rest into my account and it would just take a moment. He asked to see my ID which I thought was odd but complied I understand some people may run off and not pay and they want to know the name. But he would NOT give me my ID or credit card back. He said until I pay over $100 (for nails that are definitely not worth that much) I would not get my belongings back. He put them out of my sight, which worried me because it’s my card? I have a right to take my items back. As well as I was standing right in front of him trying to transfer more money to my card (which I was having a difficult time doing) so I went out to my car because I was very stressed out (was only out for 2 minutes not even) I came back in to pay. HE OVERCHARGED ME, which is absolutely ridiculous. $105 nails then getting charged more than that?! Only had them for exactly one week and one fell off already, the polish is turning pink AND they are very thin and it’s hard for me to do anything without worrying about them breaking. Personally would never come to this place again. I know this post is useless but I’m very frustrated and did not get my moneys worth.

I saw La Perla and decided to give them a try it’s been about a year since I last got my nails done…and OMG I am NOT disappointed! I brought in the image for what I wanted and Lynn exceeded my expectations! I absolutely LOVE my nails, the atmosphere was great and my nails are on point! 10/10 recommend, planning on getting nails and toes when I go back with my daughters!

Critical: Quality*If you go there stay away from Ying* she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Went in for a gel manicure and was excited to get my nails done here from all the good reviews I’ve read but, after having her as a nail tech today, I’m disappointed. She didn’t cut my cuticles and her drill wasn’t working, it kept stopping and she continued to drill my nails with it cutting out, the drill wasn’t charged, and she just keep going as if she was shaping my nails , and moved on to the next hand. Until I had to stop her!!! I told her I wanted round it she didn’t shape it correct. She applied a small coat of gel before applying the color, it just looked like a sloppy job overall. No hand massage or anything, and my nails smudged because she didn’t allow the proper time under the UV lamp, she took my hand away before the timer was up!!As I looked around the salon other clients were getting their nails done, by other techs and the work seemed well done. I will give this place another try, but I will NEVER go to Ying. This was my first time so I didn’t know who to pick.The girl at the front was nice and the man that i paid was also nice so I’ll give this place another go and ask for another tech. Salon is clean and modern, and I was referred by a few ppl, so I guess it’s based on if u get a good tech.Edit: last pic, nail peeled last night. Never had I had my nail peel after a few days.
