Several friends plus friends’ relatives referred me here. I’ve been going for years and have always had a pleasurable interaction. All of the employees are pleasant, informed, and incredibly professional as well as talented. I felt protected and at peace in the salon because of their rigorous COVID-19 procedures. Some hairdressers, however, are unfamiliar with working with curly hair.

It was my first time coloring my hair. I was so worried because my hair is completely natural but I didn’t need to because Vin did an amazing job. Not only technique wise, but also in terms of customer care. He carefully explained each thing he was doing as he knew I wasn’t familiar with the process. There was careful attention to my vision of what I wanted my hair to look like. I get soooo many compliments. Not going to lie, it wasn’t cheap BUT I’d rather pay good money for good results instead of paying more money over time to hopefully repair my hair after a cheap place damages it.

NOT FOR CURLIES.They’re nice people, clean place, professional. But if you have curly hair definitely absolutely find someplace else. I am leaving this review 4 months after my cut/color as I had hoped eventually my hair would recover but I think it will take a year at least. I have seen two different stylists here, 3 years apart, both told me they know curly hair. Neither of them did. The color treatment completely effed my curl pattern and the cut didn’t work with my texture at all. They cut the hair like it’s the same texture all over my head, which it isn’t, I have 3 different textures. My layers are super messed up now bc of this and there’s nothing I can do but grow it out. Stylists, please don’t say you know curly hair if you haven’t specifically been trained for it and if you don’t specialize in it. If you’re not cutting curls almost exclusively then you’re really not a specialist.

I was referred here by multiple friends and friends’ parents. I have been coming for years and always have the best experience. Staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional and talented. With their thorough COVID-19 protocol in place, I felt safe and at ease being in the salon. Before seeing Vincenzo for regular cuts and color, I hated my hair length, volume, texture, all the haircuts I’d gotten before him, and honestly had no idea how to style the weird lengths in between cuts. Not only does Vin have me walking out the door feeling confident and looking beautiful after every appointment, he always takes the time to explain styling techniques and recommend products so that when I get home, I can replicate, and adjust with new lengths between appointments. I’ve learned so much about how to style and care for my hair in my 9 years coming to this salon — for years i even traveled from Baltimore and from Boston for their expertise. So grateful to have this team who care so much about each of their clients ❤️ You get a whole experience and they are putting years of knowledge into your do. They are worth their weight in gold and I would pay twice their cost for these cuts, for real.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueVincenzo was very unprofessional and incompetent at his job. I went for a color correction as I had dyed my hair multiple times with box dyed and my hair turned orange, so I wanted it dyed back to my natural hair color of black. When I left the salon I thought my hair looked great, but I do feel that his prices are overpriced as you leave the salon with wet and unstyled hair. My hair doesn’t even take long to dry, so sitting under the dryer would have done fine but I was not given that option. After leaving the salon, I noticed orange spots in the back of my hair. This was probably due to the fact that he didn’t even section my hair when dying it. When I nicely reached out to him to fix the spots, he was very short and did not offer any apologies. We finalized an appointment to fix it, but 2 hours before said appointment he canceled with again no apologies or excuse. We rescheduled, and he was very condescending at the appointment. He acted as if the orange spots in my hair were not a big deal, and that I was “intense” for wanting them fixed. The orange spots are very noticeable, and when I straighten my hair I could not wear my hair half up and half down because the spots were so evident. Honestly, the whole dye job looks botched as I asked for black to match my natural hair color, but I have dark brown with reddish hues underneath with my natural black roots. With this botched job, I should have been asking for the hair to be all redyed, but I did not want to further damage my hair and went with the most egregious spots. Additionally, I would not have cared that much about the different colors I currently have in my hair if he was apologetic and not so arrogant. I went to the salon with a picture of what I wanted and Vincent took the time to share with me his opinion and what he thought. He told me the color I wanted wasn’t going to be a good idea for my hair. I trusted him and I am so happy I did, he did an amazing job!!!!

Awesome and clean environment. Since I went during the time that everyone is taking covid precautions that was a big concern. Vincent is very knowledgeable about hair and works quickly and efficiently. Being a curly haired girl my experience with him was awesome.

I can’t tell you how utterly disgusted I am by this salon. By far the most unprofessional and rude group of individuals I have ever come about in any service environment. Telling a customer they don’t know what they want and what the stylist is proposing is what they “actually” want is bad business. Then when said customer expresses their dislike, you offer them no solution and tell them they can do it different next time. This is the way they treat what once was a repeat customer. I can only imagine how they treat a new customer. I urge anyone looking to book an appointment with Vincent or anyone else there to steer clear. There are plenty of local salons that value and respect their clients.
