I usually go to Marcia to get my hair done, she is a sweetheart and she definitely knows what she’s doing. However this time I needed an appointment last minute and she was busy, so i was paired with a man whose name i cant remember exactly. I only wanted a treatment and a blowout. When i come to a salon to get a blowout i expect it to look better than what i do myself every week at home. no volume or shape to it was given. just straight blowout. My hair is thick and dense, so it takes more time to blow dry, but he took a whole 30 mins to do that with a help of other employee, and this is how it came out. icicle looking layers that dont stay in place (i asked to make sure that my hair is blown away from my face). When i do my hair myself i try to accentuate the layers. i’m sitting in my car now and my hair is all over my face. The man who was doing my hair seemed to be distracted a lot and was looking around all the time, he never asked if i liked the result and i had to repeat to him that i dont want my hair in my face, he did something, but it didnt change the end result. Worse than when i let it air dry. i paid $72 for dissatisfaction.

I have been coming here for years everyone is so nice and accommodating. The manager, Julie, is exceptional and makes you feel like you’re part of the salon family. Tish gives an amazing haircut and always gives the best tips and tricks for the perfect blowout. Yulia is the blonding queen and gets my color exactly how I want it every time while giving the best advice on products for at home care to prolong my time between visits. My daughter also loves coming to the salon especially to see Madison for haircuts.

this was my first time coming into la Jolie and it was an absolute amazing experience the ladies there are all super friendly and attentive of you, very clean space as well ! I was a little nervous just because I have never tried a new hair salon before I was amazed with the results I asked for a layered face framing haircut and was exactly what I got ! The pricing is also very reasonable ! amazing amazing amazing definitely gonna keep on coming here.

I was surprised by how much I was quoted when I asked for partial highlights and a haircut. It is worth noting I was quoted for balayage even though I asked for partial highlights and was told it could be nearly $400 worst case, which is too much in my opinion. Also needing to put a $150 deposit down to make an appointment, I have never heard of that before.

I had one of the best experiences at this salon! I went there pretty blonde, but wanted to go lighter, so the stylist and I went through a variety of options, colors, and prices before doing my hair. Unfortunately, the color ended up not being the way I was picturing it, but it did fit my description, so I didn’t feel comfortable complaining or saying anything in front of other clients. The price was exactly what you’d expect at a high end salon like this, zero complains.

I’m pretty bummed about this. I got a haircut where I asked for a dusting and not only was the stylist 20 min late to start the appointment, she rushed it and threw my hair around. Nothing against the stylist she really was sweet but I just felt like she was on the clock. The blow out was decent but as soon as I walked out I saw all these split ends still there and honestly some were made worse. She dry cut my hair not sure if that has any affect but my split ends definitely look worse than from before my haircut. I also wanted to make sure the price wasn’t bad for literally a dusting of hair being cut off and ended up paying $80 (I did get a conditioner treatment but it was 2 minute process). I’ve had this rushing experience before at the salon where the stylist was super late to start and saw like 5 other people during the appointment. Staff is pleasant I just think something behind the scenes isn’t adding up. Just a bit salty since I paid like $150 with tip and a product but will have to get another haircut soon at another salon to help with split ends.

I have never had a worst styling experience than my visit to la Jolie. My hair is thick, so I make it a point to ask upfront what the maximum price a haircut will go to because I know it can take longer to blow dry my hair. Erika, the receptionist, promised me it would not be more than 60 dollars. Lo and behold, once I go down to pay, Erika informs me that I am being charged 80 dollars due to the thickness of my hair. She would not listen to any of my concerns or objections, and I ended up paying close to a 100 dollars (including tip) for a glorified trim. I am a student, and had saved up for this haircut, and if I had known it would have cost this much extra I wouldn’t have come. This is the definition of scamming and disvaluing your customers. You should honour your word and prices that you give to customers before they come to the salon.
