This place is located 4 doors down from were crown and glory hair salon was. The appointment was set and I arrived and the braiding place was dirty and conflict in price. I was getting cornrows up into a ponytail. My hair is blond they didn’t have my hair color then i was quoted $165 for cornrows. I was talking to the owner while she was yelling at me and I disagreed with the price. I left the shop. They quoted me one price on the phone and it was different when arrived. Bad business!! People need to tell the truth about this business.

I made my appointment 1 week in advance. I was called to confirm my appointment, arrived at the shop and got my hair braided in the style I wanted (feed-in cornrows) I will tell you, this style will last at least 3-4 weeks because the braids are tight “just right”. I contacted them to confirm a date and a timeframe. I arrived on time and was asked to come back in three hours because they were still doing someone else’s hair. When I returned, they were ready for me, but the prices discussed did not match the price she told me once I sat in her chair. I’m sure they do lovely work, but the poor communication truly turned me off, and I left very frustrated. Rating them 2 stars because they were nice over the phone and their Instagram has good work, but things turned sour once I noted their inconsistencies.

Critical: QualityI came to this salon to try knotless braids for the first time. I received knotless braids in the front and very small feedin cornrows in the back; first red flag. I had ombre braids where they physically added the color hair on the end. A week after my braids were installed, the section of the braid where the color attached to the initial color started to fray and separate. It look so bad, the only style I could wear my hair was a bun to hide it. The more I clipped the frayed areas, the more they continued to unravel. I was hoping to really like my hair but it was awful. They offered to correct the issue by reattaching the ends, but I didn’t want to waste my time. If they knew how to correctly create an ombre look, it should’ve been done right the first time. I only kept the braids in my hair for one month due to the bun style pulling at my roots.
