I have been blessed with an amazing career, over the past 27 years as a massage therapist. I worked at the Bellevue Pro Club and had a private practice in Kirkland working with the Sonics, Seahawks, and the Mariners! Collectively, over a 12 year span, body mechanics became my specialty with this elite group of athletes. Well respected by many coaches and doctors in the sports medicine industry, I’ve been able to apply this knowledge to my current clients in my day spa. This is like retirement, working on average size people, adding sugar scrubs, spa facials, and teaching couples how to work with each other, creating experiences, slowing down the pace, (I pride myself in not being the drive through window). I love what I do!

The new location is right by the water, beautiful beautiful beautiful. Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing moment sitting outside or inside in this perfect location before Mari can do some magic with her incredible talent and amazing skills in providing the best massage and treatments ever. I feel in paradise and my body is incredibly relaxed and soothed after her massage. She is a great person but more over she knows how to treat your muscle and to serve you with the best relaxation treatments. Mari spent an afternoon working on me and my girlfriend, lucky us 😉 . Mari made the appointment process easy for us and she was flexible, though her masseuse partners were booked so we couldn’t get a simultaneous massage. Instead she made us cozy in her comfortable studio and worked on us one at a time while the other was lounging on a large sofa next to the massage table. This experience was just as good as the couple massage option. I only booked 60 minute massages but it seems we got more time than that and it would be an understatement to say we were “relaxed” after. My massage gift was a surprise to my girlfriend Mari definitely made it an experience that got me good boyfriend “points”.

Mari is an amazing therapist and an excellent teacher. We did a couples learn to massage session during a weekend trip to Laconner. Everything about the experience was beyond our expectations. Firstly, her approach is to “sneak up” on the muscles, taking her time to warm them up and stretch them in these amazing long strokes. We were both unbelievably relaxed and without any of that tense unnecessary deep agitation so many therapists use on knots. Secondly, she is a natural teacher with an approachable demeanor. She found a way to teach to each of our different learning styles with no difficulty. When one approach didn’t seem to work for my partner, Mari found a creative method to get straight through to her. We will definitely be back to see her next time we roll through town.
