I was very hopeful about this salon, but, it is nothing special and it is the same salon that use to be located near Sweet Basil. The massage was mediocre. My calluses and cuticles were basically still there. The nail polish was runied on my way home. The nail polish was also on my skin. I wouldn’t return to the salon. I could do my nails better at my house.

First of all, I’d like to say this is a bad experience for me. I fully understand and respect male staff. But today, the male who helped me with my pedicure, I think he is unqualified. He is not even familiar with the whole process of pedicure because he needs to ask his colleagues what to do next. At the same time, he couldn’t find the tools he needs to use; he couldn’t did a good job of removing dead skin of my heel; he forgot to massage my feet. All above, this is an unqualified service. Then another male helped me with me manicure. This male is better than the male who made my pedicure. He knows the process and what he is doing. But in terms of results, I am looking forward to getting more delicate nails.

I happened upon the salon on my way to Starbuck’s early on a Sunday morning. I had planned to get my nails done elsewhere later that morning. It opened at 9:00 AM, which is much earlier than other salons in this area. It was an excellent experience. Vivian, who is the owner, was so friendly while multi tasking effectively during my entire time there. It is new, friendly, clean and has great service. I highly recommend La Bella Salon in Foster City!!
