Got acrylic nails done here… probably will never go back. I asked the woman in the beginning to get my cuticles well since they were pretty bad. She did not say anything, but then when we got towards the end, when she was about to paint my nails, I asked her again to get my cuticles. she said that with acrylic nails, they do not do anything with the cuticles. She said that they only do the cuticles with manicures and then proceeded to giggle and ask me if I’ve ever gotten acrylic nails before.. this felt like an insult. She said they could charge extra to do the cuticles and I said forget it. I’ve been to nail salons where they never touch my cuticles, but when you speak up and ask them to they usually do. I was in shock to be told that they don’t touch the cuticles when they put acrylic nails on or even push back the cuticles. This is ridiculous and a rip off in my opinion.
