Critical: ProfessionalismOkay so, I had expectations that this salon would be awesome. I had been there before and had a good experience. But boy did I get the wrong stylist. The lady who did my hair greeted me by telling me to wait while she cleaned up after her last client. I was on time and when I walked in she was just sitting on her phone, doing nothing. She commented to the other stylist there that she wanted to go home and just needed to nap. Which okay, don’t we all? But not something I want to hear from the person who’s about to cut several inches of my hair off. She seemed annoyed that my hair wasn’t clean and was impossible to hold a conversation with. She burned my scalp with the hairdryer and as I flinched away from her, she said ‘oh is it too hot’ and I replied ‘yes, sorry’ and she just kept blow drying at the same temperature! When my hair was dry (and scalp worse for wear) she spent five minutes curling the same strand of hair. I seriously had no idea what she was doing or why she wasn’t curling the rest…she just stood there, doing the same thing, all while not talking. It was so odd. My hair cut was, of course, way too short and not like the picture, but it’s fine because hair grows, I just wish I had a pleasant experience in the process. I do like the vibe in this salon and will most likely be back, just won’t use Margaret (I’m not sure of her name because she didn’t introduce herself. Okay so, I had expectations that this salon would be awesome. I had been there before and had a good experience. But boy did I get the wrong stylist.
