I went in to my local LA Tan at the end of October to cancel my membership, I was talking to the girl about how I am going through a divorce and need all of the money that I can get right now, she wrote my name on a blue post it note and said that she would cancel my membership effective November 1st (since it was so close to November I would have been charged a fee). I was charged in November and assumed that it was just because I did not get there in time to cancel. I was just charged again for December and should not have been. I just called to speak to someone, I described the situation to the girl on the phone and she told me that she was the manager and told me that I was not there and did not cancel because she doesn’t remember this and no paperwork popped out. I described to her the entire situation and she told me that she would never do that and that there is paperwork to sign and that pops out as soon as a cancellation is put in, I informed her that there was no way for me to know that and that if she was cancelling the membership after I was there then of course there would be no paperwork, I did my part and I do not feel that she did her part. I feel extremely insulted and she proceeded to argue with me the entire time and kept telling me that I was wrong and that I did not cancel because there was no signed paperwork – I was called a liar when I used my lunch hour to go there to cancel, I asked for her to refund me for December and she said that there is no way for her to do that and that I never cancelled. I’m just shocked at the lack of customer service that I received and how she was so willing to argue with me on the phone. I will not be going to LA Tan in the future and I will be sure to tell my friends and coworkers about my experience!

Rude people. Never again would I walk in their. I dont think they deserve any stars. Asked about packages didn’t even look at me, just handed me pricing list. Either she was having a bad day. Work is work, home issues stay at home. People just dont seem to differ from the two. That why places gets bad reviews. When a person changes my mood I’m going to give them a review they deserve. This was back in Oct. when visiting.

Change hours at Sterling Illinois location on Google. Shows the store is open on Sunday until 5. Not true. Drove out there and closed at 3 :/
