Every time I come there is a problem. Ideally u would like to go relax at a tanning spa. I used to be a member but I canceled because there was always billing issues corporately, then they would try to charge extra to my account when In fact it was always a corporate error. Needless to say they called and offer a few tanning sessions on them to account for their multiple errors …..Whatever….. should not happen this much.

This L.A. Tan is okay, and I think most customers can agree with me. I am a customer because of the location and am a fan of the $5 Tuesdays, however, I would like to address some areas for improvement. The staff are young girls who seem to do the minimum of their job. I think I could give this more stars if there was more sense of professionalism with the staff. I have also had numerous issues with the tanning beds…I have had some that are way too hot, the buttons do not work, some of the lamps do not work, or they do not seem clean.

They are not thorough when selling you packages. I got no paperwork when I purchased a package last year with 10 tans. They did not tell me about any expiration date. Just found out that I can’t use the rest of them because it has been a year since my purchase. I’d have to purchase an entire package again for $83 to get them back, when they already were paid for. Terrible customer service.

I would give this place NO stars but you have to choose one in order to post. I went tanning today and there was a blond and brunette working the front desk. They were EXTREMELY rude, not professional and if I was the owner I would be embarrassed to have these two be the face of my store. I will never go back.

This LA TAN has the worst employees except the one brunette girl. Everytime I go in I get an attitude. On top of that I work close by and one of my employees accidentally put LA tan address instead of ours and the girl working stole his lunch and signed his credit card slip. I will drive to any other location even tho they are in the same parking lot to not deal with the dishonest and uncaring staff.

They have really great specials every week with $10 spray tans on Mondays and $5 tanning on Tuesdays. The Lake Zurich location is very nice, probably one of my favorites.
