If you ever want to “freeze your account” to lock in your rate, don’t. I froze my account in January, they didn’t charge me that month, but then charged me for February. So I went in, lady at the counter said my account showed as still frozen and wasn’t sure why I was charged and would have someone from HR contact me to get it sorted out. No one ever called so I disputed the charge with my bank, got my money back and all was fine until they charged me again today for March. I went in and was told the same thing, that my account was still frozen, she wasn’t sure why I was still being charged, and that someone from HR would contact me. When I said I was told that last month and wanted the charge reversed today, she said they don’t do refunds. It’s not a refund if you shouldn’t have charged me in the first place, she even confirmed my account is frozen, so why are you charging me?? Assuming this Emily from HR won’t be contacting me, I’m gonna dispute the charge again, get my money back, and just cancel my membership entirely. I came here to read reviews and sure enough I found one of someone saying the same thing happened to them last year, so I’m sure it happens a lot and people just don’t bother leaving the review. So tan here if you must, but if you want to freeze your account, just cancel your membership, which is really what they want bc then they can charge you more to start a new account, so just tan elsewhere honestly. And when you cancel your membership, they make you sign something, so KEEP A COPY just in case they try to keep charging you.

When we went in to ask about it Claire said the first doc on file for him was his cancellation. Wouldn’t let us tan. Even though we’ve paid for months not even knowing. Chesterton native- this place is trash. The beds are filthy, always brought my own sani wipes and do a quick rub down before i got in. More than 50% of the time, the bed they give you have lights that are dead, and yes, a couple of the beds have NO lights for the face. The staff is very rude, a couple particular. I work midnights, can only make it in the evening,came in @ 7:30 and refused to service me, saying i always come in late. When i apologize and said i work midnights and have a different schedule than most, she said that is not my problem. I canceled my membership (a woman assured me it was canceled over the phone), sure enough they were charging me 3 extra months (unaware) on an account that no longer had a card attached to it. It caused my account to shut down, i now owe over $100 for something i shouldn’t, was sent to some collection agency i have to dispute. They make you link your card to your account and make you jump through hoops to cancel your membership. Depending on who you’re talking to behind the counter, you’ll get different answers for how to close your membership. It’s a scam. They’re in it for the money. The staff purposely isnt trained, or they’re purposely told not to give you the necessary, explanatory answers- their main mission is to charge your card as long as possible, while providing you very mediocre service with an even more mediocre, bratty staff. Lol. Go to allure (they have a sister salon on highway 6 in portage near the movie theater you can use as welll) – THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.

Update: They have not run out of solution in quite a while now. The staff is friendly. The place is cleaned after each use or I wouldn’t go.I am thankful I gave them a second chance to correct things. Good job LA TAN!

Came here at 4pm on Sunday, which also happened to be Mother’s day. There is no sign on the door that says they are closing early or closed period today but yet their doors are locked and no one is here. I will not be returning to this one cuz who knows when they will be open since they don’t go by their hours apparently.
