I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the dip manicures at this salon! The photos I’ve included in this review are from a manicure I received on 5/1/22…today is 5/18! Almost three weeks later and every single nail looks freshly done except for the outgrowth. There is never any cracking or chipping! And you know how sometimes with outgrowth the bottom of the dip sort of comes away from the nail and your hair gets caught? Yeah, that doesn’t happen here! I only have to return because I have too much outgrowth. I travel a lot and always wait to come here if possible. Every other salon I’ve tried in the country chips or cracks within 10 days. Their no-chip pedicures are like ways amazing! This color is Mountain Mist jic you’re wondering 🙂

In a year, I’ve only taken them up on this twice. My nails last twice as long here than other salons in the area.Another plus is the salon policy is to honor appointments over walk-ins. The other day, I came in as a walk in and the nail tech who first greeted me took the time to apologize for the wait and explain they have to honor appointments first. I’ve been on the other side of this scenario and it’s nice to see it is consistent. 5 days after a full set, and they’re already falling off! Some of the sloppiest work Ive seen in a long time! Many spots missed with the acrylic near the base of my nail/cuticle region. Brought my concerns up and was totally shot down like I was being crazy. These nails were also super thick and bubble-looking, when I specifically asked for them to be thinner. I also brought up how uneven the nails were, and I was told my fingers were crooked – lol.

This is Edward’s wife, Alli: LA Nails glen ellyn has THE BEST dip manicures around. We split our time between Texas and Chicago and I only go here for my dips. I don’t know how they do it but all 10 nails last 3 weeks without chipping: I only need to return because of outgrowth. Every other salon I’ve been to my nails are chipping within 10 days and looks like I’ve been clawing my way through a horror movie by the start of week 3. Eric, the owner, and his wife, Annie, are amazing! I cannot recommend them highly enough and every tech is trained by Eric so you get quality work no matter who your technician is.
