The first time I brought my son here for a haircut, I waited for 15 minutes for the owner to finish with the previous client. I didn’t have a problem with that. I understand that things happen and people run late from time to time. She took my son and it was fine; his hair is very simple to do. While checking out, I made a eyebrow waxing appointment for my daughter and a haircut appointment for my son at a later date. Then I paid for my son’s cut using a $70 gift certificate that I had purchased for my grandmother for Christmas, but she passed away before she got to use it. When I paid with a gift card (and gave a 50% cash tip) the owner immediately got an attitude (probably knowing that for the eyebrow appointment and next haircut I’d be using the remaining amount). When we went for the eyebrow appointment, due to traffic, we were a little bit late and she refused to take us. Keep in mind, we waited 15 minutes for her at the last appointment with no apology or even acknowledgement. There weren’t any other clients in there. She was sitting at the desk. She had an attitude the moment we walked in the door and gave me some sorry excuse that she doesn’t have more than one client at a time due to Covid, which was a lie being that at the previous appointment there was another client in there with us. I absolutely would not patronize this place. Gas is $5 a gallon, and I can’t control the traffic in front of me. I was more than understanding when she was 15 minutes late; I was only 7 minutes late. In these times, businesses should be thankful you are supporting them. I will not support this business and will tell everyone I know to not patronize this rude, arrogant shop owner.

First off, I wanted to say what a friendly atmosphere there is at L.A. Cuts. I recently got a perm here and it was a nice place to hang out in. It was my first time going there and sadly, the perm did not turn out right for several reasons. We could not re-perm it because it would damage my hair too much, but Stacy was very nice and understanding. She refunded me and gave me a free olaplex treatment to help with some of the damage and trimmed my hair to make the shape better. The results are still not what i wanted but she made it look a little more presentable for now. I really appreciate that she cared enough to do what she could to make it right. I understand that sometimes things just do not go right with hair but it makes all the difference when the salon tries to make it better.
