I’ve been here a few times before this incident never had any issues with the place. Well on 08/28/2022 I walked into the building happy and ready for my wax, as I walked in I didn’t receive any acknowledgment. Around now I had to be in there about 6 mins still standing waiting. There was a worker on the computer handling a guest and someone on the side of her who watched me come in and literally said nothing. As a customer came from back she was acknowledged and set for her next appointment. I then sat down because I felt like my service wasn’t welcomed. Finally she gave me a soft hey which I could barely hear and that is when the lady on the computer finally leaned over and said hey. This is the mountain Brook location and I don’t think our money is welcomed there. I would go more into details but I’m not the type to throw race into anything, even though I was the only black woman in the building at the time. I won’t be back and I will be going to the media about my experience.

I highly recommend LA Bikini!! I have never had a wax before so I was pretty nervous. I didn’t know what to expect. I walked in and was greeted by the front desk. She was super sweet and also answered all the questions I had. She made me feel very comfortable for it being my first time. The business looks well kept and clean. They have nice music and also privacy rooms. The staff there were welcoming and I will be back!! If you are nervous about coming here, don’t be. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend coming here for your waxing needs!! 🙂

I really debated not saying anything at all, but I am so disappointed. I booked with LA bikini for the first time today. I arrived and everyone was nice. However, I mentioned never having been sugared before and my esthetician really didn’t offer any insight. I booked a lip and brow wax. Online, the booking stated that lip included upper and lower lip. I asked my esthetician about this and she said that only upper was included. I thought maybe I had read it wrong. My upper lip has some hair left behind. The website literally says if the hair can be felt it can be removed. I was super excited to try this place. This is in no way a criticism of any one individual. I just wanted to share my experience.
