I will definitely patronize KY Hair Braiding again. My daughter got box braids and they are beautiful. The braider, Irene, was professional and did not braid too tightly. The shop was clean, organized and the staff were professional. I was pleasantly suprised by the experience. I will take my daughter back to have her hair braided for the new school year in August.

I enjoyed my experience today. The facility is nice, neat and clean. I was seated immediately and the young lady proceeded to do my hair. All of the staff were friendly and attentive to their clients. Unfortunately, I forgot the young ladies name that braided my hair. She was the BEST ! Always insuring that I was comfortable, pleased with my hair and making sure that the style was meeting my expectations.

Could do better on custom service but I like the braid.. not sure why I received a reply about giving a bad rating your business received a 4 .. it had nothing to do with hair service it was that fact that when I asked for what I wanted I was met with what I felt was attitude.. crazy part is I was willing to come back.. but I see you don’t want my business.. so to a 3 I go for your unprofessional response..

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon. I told her it was too tight about 10 times she continued to do what she wanted. The faux locs came out HORRIBLE and STIFF. They are so tight I can’t even pull them back off my face. The parts are super crooked. To top it off the stylist was over an hour late so I had to sit in the parking lot waiting for them to come open the shop. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Super unprofessional and I asked for a refund and that was not granted.

Positive: Cleanliness, QualityCame here at the end of May to have Fulani braids done. My appointment was on a Sunday at 10AM; however, the ladies did not arrive until closer to 11AM. Apparently there were also several other clients who had been waiting in their cars, some since 8AM. Lee-Lee did an AMAZING job on my feed-ins. She was gentle and the cornrows were very neat! I received a lot of compliments on the style. Impressed with the level of service I received on my first trip in May, I booked again for the 1st of July. Unfortunately, my appointment time was at 3pm and no one touched my hair until after 6pm. If I wasn’t going out of town and didn’t need my hair done, I likely would have left. I understand that shops get busy, however the current client scheduling seems overextended, leaving the braiders spread too thin. While I can see waiting an hour or so, to wait 3 hours is EXCESSIVE, in my opinion. (The owner was very apologetic about the long wait).Overall, I really like the shop but my recommendation is to be one of their very first clients as opposed to one of their last. Came here at the end of May to have Fulani braids done. My appointment was on a Sunday at 10AM; however, the ladies did not arrive until closer to 11AM. I had medium waist length knotless braids done here six weeks ago and they still look new. This place was a last minute find for me and I took a chance. I’m so glad I did. They do beautiful work. Braids

Her work was great, quick (as quick as braids can be) .. feels great and not tight. I don’t feel my edges being pulled tight, very neat parting … easy accessible location … was open early enough. All the ladies was really sweet with nice friendly manner ..will most definitely go back for my hair to be done again my her, I recommend

Braids look amazing!! The shop is nice and spacious, very clean and well organized!! The lady’s are very sweet but kinda slow if engaged in any type of conversation.. I recommended them right away but unfortunately my mother did not receive the same level of professionalism leading to no services rendered.. But I’ll probably give them another chance myself but no more recommendations..
