The customer service and professionalism of this salon as a whole are deplorable. On top of it, they can’t even do hair right. My wife came to the salon about a month ago to get her hair colored platinum from a natural dark blonde and cut into a bob. Until coming to KS, she had never had a stylist mess this up, out of four different stylists/salons in three different states. KS failed to get the color right *twice*, the first time leaving her hair almost banana yellow, and the second time not only still leaving her hair more yellow than ash, but burning her scalp with the bleach. Completely unprofessional. You’d be better served going to Great Clips.

Today was my first visit to the salon. From the moment I walked in till the moment I left (2 hrs. Later), I throughly enjoyed my first visit. Brandi M. did an amazing job on a highlight, low light, cut and blow out…and I am PICKY about my hair. She is definitely a top notch stylist.

Had an appointment yesterday morning for a haircut and highlights. I showed up and they told me that my stylist had an emergency and that I have to reschedule.AFTER I SHOWED UP. I understand things come up but no one bothered to call to let me know. Customer service is lacking and even if the stylists are their own employees as I’ve read, it still presents your business as a whole in a negative light, when your customers are given no notice of cancellation. Really wanted to give them a try…oh well.

I have been to a few people trying to break up my blonde for a more natural look with no luck. Kelly gave me exactly what I wanted and my hair looks and feels amazing! She took her time with me and explained everything to put me at ease. As a new mom I feel so beautiful! I have complete confidence in her and the rest of her staff. Yesterday I had my hair done by Kelly and I couldn’t be happier. I have been to a few people trying to break up my blonde for a more natural look with no luck. Kelly gave me exactly what I wanted and my hair looks and feels amazing! She took her time with me and explained everything to put me at ease. As a new mom I feel so beautiful! I have complete confidence in her and the rest of her staff. It may take a bit to get an appointment, but it is well worth the wait!

I’ve been to KS Hair a couple times now and before my most recent visit, I’ve been very happy with my results. I went in a little over a month ago for a hair cut and balayage. Unfortunately, that visit did not go well. The stylist was a few minutes late which wasn’t a big deal, but it did set the tone for the rest of the appointment. I explained what I wanted—a blonde balayage but I wanted my roots left alone so that it would be easy to maintain—and I even showed a photo of what I wanted. The stylist kept saying “highlights” and I would say “no, more balayage style” which is what I booked when I made my appointment online. As I was watching her put the foils in my hair, I knew my hair wasn’t going to be what I wanted, which was to be very blonde. She also rushed through my cut at the end and my hair wound up needing to be fixed with another cut and by another stylist to get the balayage that I wanted. So, I spent $150 + tip at KS Hair and then 2 weeks later I spent another $170 + tip at another salon to finally get the balayage that I wanted. It’s just very frustrating to drop that much money and not be satisfied. The photos posted will show the photo I showed the stylist as inspiration and then my hair 2 weeks after leaving KS Hair.

Critical: ProfessionalismI would leave 1/2 a star if I could.This was supposed to be my first time at this salon but my appointment got canceled the day of. I understand people have emergency’s. Especially during the week it would be understandable. But my appointment was for a Saturday. I am a working full time professional so I don’t get the luxury of just changing my schedule around for a hair appointment. As a first time customer it is unacceptable to be canceled on and the salon not have an accountability to accommodate.If you want good hair care and customer service save yourselves time and energy and just make the trip to Tucson where the salons put customer service first!I would leave 1/2 a star if I could.This was supposed to be my first time at this salon but my appointment got canceled the day of.
