As a veteran, I have high expectations when I go to specific places and get certain things.

Amazing place with very friendly staff . Great hair cut prices . The owner cuts my son’s hair exactly like he explains he wants it . Way better than any other chain barber. I would recommend this place to everyone Haircut

I went to this place because sport clips had an enormous wait, and I didn’t have time to wait 50 minutes for a haircut. I had the older lady, she just started cutting my hair before she even asked how I wanted it done, and when I asked her to do it how I wanted, she told me I can’t cut it shorter because it will stick up. I was asking for a Skin fade and to leave it long on the top. She cut the top, and didn’t buzz the sides and back, just scissor cut. It doesn’t look bad when I asked some friends, but it’s absolutely not what I asked for, and I don’t like the way it looks. She seemed very skilled, but absolutely zero communication. I now have to get my hair cut again to get it sort of how I wanted it. The top is now too short, so I will just have to wait a few weeks or months for it to grow back out.

My first time there was last year after I was vaccinated and in dire need of a fresh, new haircut after letting it grow all thru 2020. What a sight!! I first went to my mid+ pricey usual salon whom I can’t afford & I keep getting bad cuts regardless of who cuts my hair, but didn’t know where to go. I’ve been to a lot of salons. I got another really bad cut!! I promised myself I was never going back again! My hair has changed, gone Grey, color now natural, cowlicks have changed & medications have changed the texture & thickness. I went to a woman Barber in Lakeside I heard about. She took 5 min to cut it & didn’t charge me. She wanted to go home.. It was stupid looking. I then found out about Catherine, called her, & she said come on, so hopped back in the car & headed out to Shortpump She was as nice as could be & patient. I explained what I wanted. I decided I wanted to go way short. Kinda a boy cut but I didn’t want to look like an old man. Catherine nailed it!! My cut looked good & felt great!! It lifted my face & eyes. I loved it & got more compliments & it grew out great but with the surge in Covid I haven’t been to get it cut & was also letting it grow while cold… but am hoping to get out soon & get a fresh cut. Maybe not quite as short yet but soon! Catherine is the best!! Thanks Catherine. Please don’t go anywhere!

Very cozy/comfortable place. Walked in and was seated right away. Staff are friendly. My barber Katherine was very kind and friendly also. She would make small talk to help feel comfortable. Haircut was quick but professional, they really take care of you. 12/10 would recommend again!

Critical: ProfessionalismThe haircut was OK. I wish she listened better. My deep disappointment was masks. Despite signs to the contrary …-Three of 4 people cutting hair, masks did not cover their noses.-One customer had no mask. How are we going to ever open up fully if we can’t do simple things (And there were signs)I will not be backJimmyThe haircut was OK. I’ve had my hair cut here multiple times. Jin is a master barber and when I leave, I always feel and look fantastic. Each time I’ve visited KS Barber Shop, the facility was in compliance with all state and federal COVID-19 Mandates and Guidelines. The facility is always very clean and everyone including employees have been masked. The facility has vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans which helps with ventilation and makes me feel confident that I’m as safe as I can be because the employees work hard to ensure such. Signage about mask mandates and hygiene were present on doors and inside as well and KS Barber is able to accommodate you quickly, with a quality cut at an affordable and competitive price. If I get my haircut there, you can be assured they won’t disappoint you. If you’re getting a mediocre cut somewhere else, guys, I highly recommend getting in to see Jin work his magic on you!

Went to get my sons hair cut the same exact way it’s been cut the last 24 times! The old lady told me no that it’s too short I need to do a 4 on the top. I told her no then don’t do it. She took it up on herself to start cutting my sons hair after I told her no! It is not your responsibility to tell me how my sons hair should be it is your job to cut his hair as I asked! Will never return to this shop again! FYI lady NO means NO it’s a universal understanding that you learn as a child!
