I was with another stylist that day, who was fabulous, but the entire time I watched in AWE as Michelle completely transformed another client’s hair. I was blown away. From that point on, Michelle has been my person!! I could not be more happy with my experience at Koukla. Michelle is talented, creative, and kind. She’s attentive to detail. She takes her time, and gives you her undivided attention every time you’re in the studio. Way back in 2018, I visited Koukla Studio for makeup application/blowout before a wedding. I was with another stylist that day, who was fabulous, but the entire time I watched in AWE as Michelle completely transformed another client’s hair. I was blown away. From that point on, Michelle has been my person!! I could not be more happy with my experience at Koukla. Michelle is talented, creative, and kind. She’s attentive to detail. I love Koukla Salon! I see Michelle and she is wonderful and super talented!! I usually do balayage among other coloring techniques, and haircuts, and am always thrilled with the result! She just gets it and is a great listener and great company! Everyone I’ve interacted with at the salon, both those working there and those getting services there, have been great. There is parking available to the side of the building as well as on the street, and across the street at acme. They also use and sell great quality products. Highly recommend!

My hair looked ok when I was leaving the salon but photos taken (posted below) were about 30 minute after I left the salon. Weather was not an issue. I have long, thick, curly hair but I assumed that since blow outs are the main service offered here that their stylists could handle it. I contacted management immediately and they were very apologetic but refused offer a refund for the $55 I spent on this. They offered to do my hair again for free but I needed my hair to look nice for a special occasion and instead I had to put it up in a bun after my appointment. I’m not interested in spending any more of my time or money (for a babysitter) to come back to this business again. If you have thin or normal hair I guess this place would be fine but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with hair even close to mine.

She was so meticulous and patient in perfecting and melting the color exactly how I wanted. I felt completely safe, as all of the appropriate COVID-19 precautions were taken in the salon. I’ve been coloring my hair for years but this is the first salon that has actually achieved what I asked for in terms of color/hue. The salon also sells its own crafted shampoo and conditioner that smell amazing, make my hair so soft and keep color bright. I learned about Koukla through Instagram and immediately fell in love with Michelle’s melting into the fall technique!! I went in and she did amazing job on my hair. The color was beautiful and long lasting. My second time with Michelle was getting foilyage done. The color treatment was stunning. Michelle will take care of you guys!! If not satisfied, she will bring you back in until you are 100% happy with your color. My hair has never looked so good. I wasn’t able to get an appointment at my usual hair salon so I tried out this salon and Michelle did not disappoint! I shared a picture of what I was looking for and it was perfectly re-created. I have been seeing Michelle for two years here at Koukla Beauty bar and I’ve always been giving exceptional service! The salon is gorgeous and such a great atmosphere. The stylist are always so attentive and friendly! I have really dark hair, and this is the only salon that I let them do my blonde balayage! I definitely recommend coming here.

This salon is sooooo AMAZING. The staff was wonderful and very attentive! Very clean and well kept environment. The white marble upon entering the building is mesmerizing and really sets a mood when walking in! They offered me a refreshment while I was waiting for my appointment. My hair was done with tender love! My stylist Maria took her time to listen and understand exactly what I wanted and then some! This place really set the bar of expectations for anywhere I’ve ever been!!! I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!!
