Great for finding the root cause which may be causing you referred pain/problems from a different area than that which you think aches. Amazing! I am 40 years old and have been getting massages regularly since I was 16 years old. I especially started getting them on a regular basis after I broke my neck and back in eleven places in a gymnastics accident when I was 18. I have a lot of “back problems,” and a lot of pain on a daily basis leftover from that injury. There’s been arthritis in my neck and back since I was about 25 years old. I have been to several doctors, orthopedics, neurosurgeons, chiropractors, massage therapists, etc. over the last 22 years. I have had some excellent massage therapists over the years; but, NO ONE even comes close to being as good as Tony. The first time I went, I just told him that my back hurt. At some point during the massage he asked me when I had injured my neck and back and collarbone (severe contusion fractured collarbone at age 25 that needed surgically repaired). HOW could he tell?! I told him about all my injuries, and it was like he tailored the massage for my specific needs. While it was a bit relaxing (comfy table, comfy room, smelled nice, relaxing music), the focus was definitely on deep tissue and muscle relief (which can be a bit uncomfortable at times); BUT it was EXACTLY what I wanted. And what I needed. I was a bit sore after and the next day; but, I almost immediately noticed a difference in lessened pain and range of motion. I have been seeing Tony for years, and I will not go anywhere else. Even on vacation, if my husband wanted to get a couples beach massage or something, it was just pointless because I was spending money on something that wasn’t nearly as what I could get at home for less money. I just cannot say enough good things about Tony’s knowledge and skills. He’s great At conversation and listening if I’m in the mood to talk; and, he’s also totally great at just providing a relaxed atmosphere if I want peace and quiet. He is so knowledgeable about so many things about the human body, natural remedies, homeopathy, etc; I always learn something new AND USEFUL and relevant to my body when I’m there. I’m so thankful to have found him (a good luck thank you to a google search is how I found him). His prices are completely reasonable, too, by the way. I have only left like two reviews for something in my life, and I know this is extremely long; but, I felt it necessary to share this amazing gem that we have in our community!!!
