Brie was amazing and the overall environment in Koi Salon leaves you feeling pampered and confident! I truly felt listened to with Brie as I came in with the goal of cutting off THREE YEARS of growth! She took me from hair that was slightly wavy, weighed down, damaged and well past my waist to healthy hair with great volume and face framing qualities that made me still feel feminine and confident in the collarbone sweeping length I wanted. Not only that, but she sat and discussed with me how to nurture and encourage my waves and curls and the best products to use as I’ve been trying to get back my hair’s natural texture for the last three years as well. This is the only “short haircut” I’ve received where, instead of telling me what I need to change to fit the cut, I was asked what works for me and she got me to the length I wanted in a way that fit my style and goals. This was my first time at Koi and, therefore, my first time with Brie and I can say with confidence I will be coming back again and again while we live in NC! Thanks Brie!

I’ve been going to Matthew for almost 2 years now and he exceeds my expectations every time. I first went to Matthew after a disaster bleach job elsewhere and he worked MAGIC on my hair and was able to get me back to beautiful in one long session. I drive 7 hours round trip just to get my hair done by him and I don’t trust anyone else to do as phenomenal a job! Plus he’s just so funny and very attentive, always asking if you need anything while you’re processing! The whole staff at Koi is really sweet. You’re always greeted when you walk in and they’ll make sure you’re leaving feeling amazing. Definitely recommend!

First I’d like to say I and now my daughter both absolutely adore Brittany! I would recommend her to anyone for haircuts and color. She’s always on time and makes sure you love your hair before you leave! She’s been doing my hair for some time now and honestly I’ve never met such a wonderful person before, she’s truly a breath of fresh air on top of being a great stylist! She did my 15 year old daughters hair today and she’s been smiling literally none stop since, absolutely loving her hair! Her prices are beyond reasonable as well! I also love how clean and gorgeous the salon is! I love owners attitude and just his happy energy is absolutely incredible!

Sarah did an amazing job on my hair today! I showed up with just a picture of a color I liked and she took the time to discuss options with me to get the color I want but also how to keep it lower maintenance! I love the color even more when I left the salon because it looks even more amazing in different lighting and she made my hair super soft! She was very thorough and she is very knowledgeable about color application and she was a lot of fun!

first time at Koi & first off , the salon is beautiful. tried cutting layers on myself a couple days ago & let’s just say it wasn’t my best idea. after reading the reviews , i made an appointment with Nicole & she did amazing ! i didn’t even need to show her a picture , just described the kind of cut i was trying to get & she made my hair look exactly how i wanted it to ! she was super friendly & had amazing service & really fair pricing. i just recently moved to the area and Koi is now my new favorite salon. 100% recommend this salon

It was my first time at Koi Salon and I booked with Sarah based off other online reviews and it was an absolute 10/10 experience! The salon is so clean and stylish and Sarah is not only an incredible stylist but such a genuine and fun person! I felt like I had known her for forever and it made the haircut experience more than I could have ever expected.
