Experience was okay. I went for a consultation. The place is decorated with an Afrocentric feeling, which I liked. There were T-shirts and jewelry for sale at reasonable prices. The receptionist was nice. The person who did my consultation gave me general advice for taking care of my natural hair, but it wasn’t specific to my needs. Maybe she would have been more helpful if I had locs since it seems like that’s their specialty?

She is fast and has great conversation while doing our hair which is nice because some hair stylist don’t even talk to you. My hair lasts a long time after she does it. She always gives me advice on how to manage my hair. I definitely recommend Kim if you’re starting your loc journey.I love it here. Kim just started doing my daughter’s hair, and today was her second visit. Ms. Kim was SUPER accommodating when my daughter wanted to change the first hairstyle that was done and she did it with so much patience and professionalism. She made sure me and my daughter were satisfied before we left. You will not find many stylist who would have done what she did for my daughter and did so with such a genuine and humble spirit. I am truly thankful that we found Ms. Kim!

Had my loc consultation this past week with Kim. She was awesome. Every question I had was answered and she was very friendly. The receptionists was beyond sweet and the sitting area was decorated very nicely. I can’t wait to begin my loc journey with Kim. No pressure she just educated me on how to maintain them and most importantly to have lots of patience. I found a new home for my hair.
