We spent the majority of the appointment planning shape and color and mapping. She understood my needs, heard my concerns, and I trusted her guidance and am SO happy. Through a friend I found Rachel at Knockout Beauty. I started following her Instagram posts and really loved her work but more so who she seemed to be as a person. She’s so different than any other in her industry and truly lives to empower women. I’m kind of a square peg in the makeup world but she made me feel comfortable asking any questions I had. I was able design my brows the way I wanted them.. every step of the way. I had over plucked my brows in the 90’s like everyone else and they never recovered. Rachel gave me back my beautiful brows and the confidence I’d been lacking! All my family and friends can’t believe what a difference it gave my entire face. I had been looking into Microblading for a couple years but was always afraid to take the plunge into permanent makeup. Through a friend I found Rachel at Knockout Beauty. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI first visited Knockout Beauty right when Rachel first opened in 2019 in Newport – I cannot express enough how much I’ve enjoyed all the services I have recieved (lash extensions and lash lift/tint) at Knockout Beauty and how great Rachel is!As someone who is super active/works out a lot I loved that her business’ theme was built around boxing/fitness. Her studio is super welcoming and decorated in the cutest way, she incorporates the boxing aspect perfectly where it isn’t in your face (if you’re not a boxing fan), but the subtle references are there if you look for them. What also brought me to Knockout Beauty was her fair pricing – I have never felt like I overpaid for a service as the results were always perfect.When you arrive Rachel tries to accomodate you in truly every way possible; and that accomodation continues during a service as she continually asks how you are feeling and if there is anything she can do to make the expereince better.Even before my first experience with both services I had SO many questions and Rachel was extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions either in person or over Instagram messages.When I first started visiting Knocout Beauty I was getting lash extensions and after 8 months of exntensions, Rachel realized it might be in my best interest to stop extensions as I kept loosing them from sweat and overall being clumsy (they wouldn’t last even 2 weeks without needing another fill). Instead of Rachel just suggesting I stop extensions and walk out the door, she had noticed that I did not want my eyes to be ‘naked’ and suggested moving to a lash lift/tint ; trying to find the best service/fit for my lifestyle – and wow was she spot on! I appreciated that Rachel took the time out of her day to think about me and my lifestyle and what really would be best for me.With either service I have recieved, I have never been let down, Rachel is a perfectionist and makes sure that you walk out of her studio looking flawless. She is always up to date on the best new products for each service, trends in the industry, and continually works to sharpen her skills.I truly miss seeing Rachel in the studio as frequently as I did when I was getting lash extensions. During the 2+ hour lash extension fills, me and Rachel talked the ENTIRE TIME!
