I had a long wait on the calendar for my appointment, but it was worth it. Kelcie and her team are transparent, gentle, and have the best personalities. The front desk women were even down-to-earth and you can tell they take pride in what they do. They have nurtured relationships with the patients who were waiting for their turn to be seen. I appreciated the care I received today by all of the staff members.

The Dr’s and nurses were amazing very kind and explained everything. The office staff not no so much I had 1 appointment there and then went back to have stitches removed and was not able to make full payment at the time and the 1made threats about paying or going to collections. I pay my bills so this was unacceptable and probably will not return if this is how they treat ppl.

KMC derm in Topeka is one of the best medical providers I have ever had. They are helpful, kind, listen to my concerns. The providers at lawrence KMC derm are just fine but the front desk is awful. They are condescending, rude, and more interested in getting you off the phone than getting you in to see a provider. I would rather travel the 30 minutes to Topeka than deal with the mean attitude.

I really enjoy seeing Kelcie here. She is very helpful. The location is also very convenient and appointments are timely and quick. I do have a difficult time working with the billing department and front staff. They cannot give you or your insurance an estimate for procedures or services. This makes it very difficult to plan monthly expenses. I really wished there was some way to plan for the cost of my visits and the pricing here wasn’t so deceptive. The only way to get the cost of a procedure is to do the procedure and hope for the best when receiving the bill. They also have a difficult time contacting my insurance company which I find a little strange since they should be regularly doing this for a lot of their patients.

Reached out for an appointment online at the Lawrence office as I couldn’t reach anyone on the phone during business hours. I left a voicemail two days after my request and waited patiently. I only received an email stating that my appointment request had been denied with a list of generic reasons as to why that could have happened. I did not get to even speak with a person. I still don’t know for sure why my appointment request was denied. It strikes me as unprofessional that their office would not actually reach out to me, rather I just received an automated message. If it was an insurance thing where they didn’t take my insurance, I would have been willing to pay out of pocket. But apparently I don’t get that choice here? Bizarre. I will find a more personable office to work with in the future.

I called this location and was lucky enough to catch a cancelation for the same day. I had Tiffany as my dermatologist and she was great. I was so worried she was going to diagnose me and have me come back but, she didn’t. She told me what she thought and did the procedure right then. All of the staff were friendly and so knowledgeable! I left this place happy to have everything I needed done in 1 visit!

I was also referred here by my PCP, so I made an appt. When I got to that dermatologist office, they said they didn’t have record of me in their system. *Even though I had called and confirmed the appt and even verified the location!!!* I had already waited over two months to get in by that point. The staff was rude and tried to blame other people. Then they asked if I wanted to make an appt, but said it would be another month before I could be seen! So, I walked next door to Free State Dermatology with Dr. Buxton and they said they could get me in as early as next week!

Great place to get forgotten about. Waiting room was at capacity, desk staff isn’t the friendliest. Long wait for appointment. Takes them forever to get back to you. Finally gave up and got my primary care physician involved to get my results, as my condition had become worse. Dr. and nurse are professional. Just don’t expect them to be in a hurry to deal with your issue. I seriously wish I would have went elsewhere.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Anderson today, as recommended by my primary physician. The combination of Dr. Anderson and his nurse Celeste made the appointment and procedure go easy for me. After the procedure, Celeste gave me a thorough run down on how to take care of the area with very specific verbal instructions and tips and an instruction sheet to take home. Celeste is very personable and made me comfortable from the get-go. Highly recommend this team!

I’m the third member of my family to be referred to Dr. Anderson and we have all been so pleased with our treatments. On my last visit, nurse Celeste Torrence was training a new nurse, and did such a thorough job not only explaining everything to me, but also providing extra information as part of the training. She made the visit pleasant and provided top notch medical treatment! You guys rock!
