Kathy always takes her time with me to decide what, “I need a change,” means when I come in. Her talent, patience, and humor makes me look forward to my next visit. I told Kathy what I wanted and she listened and we came up with a plan that makes me look great and also keeps my hair healthy while it happens. I get compliments all the time on my color and that it looks natural. I feel confident and love my hair! I could not be happier. I was a lifelong redhead and when white starting to show up I decided I wanted to go platinum to ease the transition and make it look less “white”. I told Kathy what I wanted and she listened and we came up with a plan that makes me look great and also keeps my hair healthy while it happens. The owner is so kind and welcoming, and the stylists are always super nice as well. I go to this salon for cuts and styling by Kathy who is a master stylist specializing in coloring and cuts. She is hands down the best stylist I have ever been to, she knows exactly what my hair needs for it’s best health but she also never fails to give me the best style cut for my hair type and face shape, she really just nails the look every time. Kathy has done all different cut styles on me over the years, from a severe bob (super short in the back, long in the front) to long layers, bangs, and most recently a long, blunt cut. I can’t express enough that Kathy does what needs to be done, every single time. The amount of compliments I get when I leave her chair goes to show. A gorgeous little salon right on Main St in Melrose. The owner is so kind and welcoming, and the stylists are always super nice as well. I go to this salon for cuts and styling by Kathy who is a master stylist specializing in coloring and cuts.
