This salon WAS my go-to for several years. The work was skillful, the place felt welcoming. Something happened to change my experience..and I’m saying MY experience. Lately, i was greeted with a lack of friendliness. I always felt welcome from the moment I walked through the door…now, not so much….it felt as if my appointment was a mere inconvenience for them. BUT, the most upsetting thing they happened during my manicure. The woman was straight up mean. I should have interrupted the manicure right then and there but I stayed..my bad. She proceeded. Okay, I’ll get to the point. She almost clipped off my thumb. I’m not exaggerating. I quietly welped and pull my thumb away just at the perfect time. The clipper came down on my thumb, causing an indentation. I said, you almost cut me! She knew what she had done but didn’t even acknowledge me. Didn’t apologize, didn’t look up at me…she continued on. Again, my bad for not getting up and leaving. I literally was kind of shocked..a bit paralyzed. The only action I took was not tipping her. I know the owners knew what had happened, but they also ignored my situation. I left saying nothing…not normally my style but that’s what happened. So here I am, writing this review, sharing my awful experience at and awful place (my opinion). I’m sure there are many who enjoy Coco, but if you’re considering going here for the first time, please don’t take a chance. There are a handful of other nail salons in the area. Best to you all.

I used to go to kiss coco’s nails for over a year only because The girl that used to do my nails was wonderful unfortunately she is no longer there so I decided to go to another nail salon in Mount Kisco because of few things… the owner “Terry” is extremely rude thinks she is doing you a favor even tho you are paying for the services also she speaks Korean and she didn’t know I understood everything she was saying about the customers to her coworkers. She has no skills to be a business owner specially when it comes to treat customers with respect!

I always get an excellent job but the owner is always cold and keeps her head down when she addresses customers. She acts as if you’re bothering her, it’s very odd behavior. But needless to say, I always get a lovely job done by the other nail techs.

I have been to Coco Nails several times, and have always noticed this happening, but now it happened to me. I was there for a gel mani and pedi and had my pedicure, and beginning my manicure, She told me the other customer had an appointment. I had an appointment 1 hr earlier. I was left waiting for a while. When I asked how long it would be, she rudely responded to wait. There are a lot of nail places and you need to treat your customers properly. I paid for the pedicure and I WILL NEVER RETURN TO KISS COCO’S NAILS!
