despite my better judgment after reading the reviews I brought my boyfriend here to get his hair cut. my boyfriend sat down and showed Eleanor the photo of what he wanted his hair to look like, she barely looked at it and then proceeded to shave off most of his hair. then after shaving off most of his hair she said “wait can I see the photo again” . she continued and manhandled him, pressed super hard on his neck making his neck very red. it probably took her like less than 20 minutes to do his hair. it felt very rushed and like she couldnt be bothered. my boyfriend feels as if she probably couldnt do it which is probably true. on top of that she was not even friendly which really was insult to injury. here are the photos he showed vs what he got and the redness from the roughness.

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately this was the second time they messed up my haircut in a row. I showed them a picture of exactly how I wanted it and said twice that I want it squared on top and not too much off the top. They did the fade too high up and cut the top off too much which made my head looking round. If you want squared haircuts unfortunately this is not the place. But like I said; very friendly and so good prices.

It was a one-star haircut but I’m giving it a 4 because everyone was so nice there, and I’m not trying to tank their overall reviews. However, I told the person I wanted a scissor cut but he kept grabbing the buzzers and I repeatedly told him just scissors – I’ve never had a buzzer near my head when I get a haircut. Toward the end of the haircut, he still took the buzzers to my head, saying he knew exactly what I wanted and that he had been doing this for 34 years. Well, yea, he should have known what I wanted since I kept calling for just scissors every time he went for the buzzers, but he still buzzed the sides of my head. Crazy. Nonetheless, the ladies that own this place are very nice, always professional, and have always given me a good haircut.

I have tried a variety of barbers over the years and Liz at Kings Park Barber is an excellent choice. Liz is extremely personable while providing an excellent haircut. One improvement would help. Appointments would be a plus. For years I avoided Kings Park Barber because of no Appointments. Being retired provides me with a bit more flexibility however Appointments would still be welcome.

The lovely ladies at Kings Park Barber are always welcoming and friendly. Each time i walk in i am instantly greeted. I can get a haircut anywhere but i go here because of the atmosphere and the friendly conversation. Wonderful members of the community.
