Critical: QualityI got my nails done on Saturday… First, I was irritated because the nail tech was not listening to anything I was asking. The nails were super thin, uneven, and, overall, a mess. Then, my right pointer finger nail broke off the same day. They were closed on Sunday, so Monday I went to get it fixed. They were understanding and fixed it for free, which I appreciated (the reason I gave them two stars instead of one). However, it is now Tuesday and my pinky nail has broken off. I work from home, don’t do heavy lifting, and never had a nail break on me, so for a $60 set to only last four days, I’m highly disappointed. I got my nails done on Saturday… First, I was irritated because the nail tech was not listening to anything I was asking. The nails were super thin, uneven, and, overall, a mess. Then, my right pointer finger nail broke off the same day. They were closed on Sunday, so Monday I went to get it fixed. Critical: QualityAs I begin 2022, my resolve is to try to be KINDER when dealing with others… that said, I tried not to make a big stink, though I was in that salon for more than 2 hrs… EXHAUSTING!!! My nails were so bad, I asked my daughter to apply the sticker decals…. I paid $136.00 & walked away with nails with lumps and a pedicure that was anything but comforting! While I love Ta and his wife, they need to do better at ensuring their staff provide the same quality they provide. When you know your customers, you know who to partner them with, so sending me to the oldest employee in the establishment, was an absolute FAIL!!! I watched Ta play cards as I sat in DREAD, wishing I could get up & walk out, without going to jail! I’ve been getting my nails done for over 20 yrs & I have never been so dissatisfied! My nails are lumpy, my feet were not properly scrubbed… it got to the point that I had to ask Ta to shape my nails, after having been there for over 2 hrs!!! Even with this, I was completely unhappy, walking away! They had already closed & my family was waiting for dinner, so I wasn’t about to sit there any longer! Based on the reviews, and lack of response or resolve, it’s clear our opinions don’t matter! I will not return & hope this review serves as a warning for others that may consider going…. the reality for me…. I know there are better options, but I can’t commit to an appointment. If you can, book the appoinent with the true pros, Sis! You’re paying the same amount, by the time you leave! I’m going to figure out a way to book & stick with an appointment! This shop is too hit & miss & uncaring for my funds! Now, if you can’t book an appointment, I have a plug that has always come through… Danni @ Nails Quest, on Liberty Road! He’s meticulous & pays attention! I’ll be going there to get my fix before my bday! Now… my bday is on 1/28, so ladies…. work with me… I need to get in on this day! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’ve been here about 4 times in the past year. Every time I come, the staff is quick. No wait. The last time I went, I had to wait maybe 20 mins after a mix up with myself & another customer being directed to the same chair. I was in a bit of a rush but never had to wait before so didn’t have a problem with waiting this time. Plus they’re pretty quick once you get in the chair. I knew they’d make up for the wait and I’d still be leaving on time. I got a pedi in the past, and that was great. Love the vip room. They give you wine, either red or white moscato, about the size of what you’d get on an airplane. It’s cute. This last time I just got a full set and though it was a little expensive ($100: $50 for set and $5 for each nail design) and not the shape I originally asked for, I’m happy with them. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. I showed the tech a picture & asked for the same design but square. I don’t think she understood. When she started doing the shape I have, I didn’t correct her. I thought I’d try something new. Not the shape for me, I’ll probably stick to square from now on. I will say, I’ve never had a problem with the nails lifting. Actually quite the opposite. Last time I didn’t go back for 3 MONTHS and I couldn’t get the dang things off! Finally had to do an at home soak. We’ll see if I get the same results this time. Only weird thing was I had to wait for a different tech to do my “design.” It wasn’t complicated so I was shocked that my original tech couldn’t do it. I’ve been here about 4 times in the past year. Every time I come, the staff is quick. No wait. The last time I went, I had to wait maybe 20 mins after a mix up with myself & another customer being directed to the same chair. I was in a bit of a rush but never had to wait before so didn’t have a problem with waiting this time. Plus they’re pretty quick once you get in the chair.
