Really small and quiet place with a great price (12$ for a haircut). Even though the atmosphere is lacking in my opinion, the barber is a lovely old guy that will cut your hair with a great attention to detail, therefore he will take his time for each person. That is why I would recommend going there when there are not a lot of customers otherwise the wait might be long.

Since returning to my home country, I’ve not been able to find a better barber. A classic, old school barber, often with a Western playing on the TV in the corner, I was unsure during my first cut, as I was turned to face the TV during the entirety of my haircut. I went to King’s Barber Shop after seeing a recommendation online while I was on exchange at the University of Illinois in 2017. Since returning to my home country, I’ve not been able to find a better barber. A classic, old school barber, often with a Western playing on the TV in the corner, I was unsure during my first cut, as I was turned to face the TV during the entirety of my haircut. I’ve been coming here all four years of my undergrad, and I’ll definitely miss it when I’m gone. Morrie is great and takes care in every single haircut. Waits can sometime be long. No better barber for the price. Cash only.

I had a haircut here for the first time and John did a great job. It looks like the place has been closed down from the outside, but the inside looks nice like an old school barber shop. The barber was friendly and meticulous about the haircut. You can’t beat this place at only $12 a haircut. I wish I’d found this place four years ago.

Chris has been my go-to barber since I moved to town a couple of years back. He knows what I mean when I say “high and tight, zero on the sides and back”. The haircut feels incredibly fresh, plus he will give your neck a straight razor shave if you ask for it. Sometimes I even ask him to give my beard a cleaner finish, and he always delivers. For less than $20 (including tip), you’ll get a haircut that should last for about a month (depending on your hair growth rate, of course). I will be sad to leave town, because Chris is an amazing barber. The shop has an old school vibe, for sure. Straight out of the 40’s, I would say.

Walked it at 10:45 on a Saturday and the guy there was not pleased so I asked if he wanted me to take my business elsewhere, he said no but to not make it a habit. He then did everything I asked him not to to my boys hair. The cowlick will grow out and they will look like roosters, the front is a hot mess and choppy. Super terrible job for someone that considers himself a barber. Don’t worry, you won’t be stuck there cutting their hair again 15 minutes before the place closes, we won’t be back.
