I’ve been going here for a little over 6 months. I’ve taken a picture in every time to match color/design and they have done an amazing job every single time. Recently I had to get my nails done at an out of town salon. I was so happy to get back to Kim’s Nails to have them fix the awful job the out of town salon did. I asked the out of town for a Navy Matte. They had no dark blue color what so ever, to top of the less than mediocre fill they did. Kim’s nails without hesitation had my color request available. I’ve always called ahead for an appointment and it’s never been a problem nor have I had to wait when I arrive for my appointment. Thank you for always doing such a great job on my nails!

I came in last week for a color change. Not sure what her name is but the older lady greeted me. (It was only her and an older man) I asked how much was a color change and she said $25 which is a bit of a higher price for color change but this is part of Cover Nails across the street and they always over price so I was expecting my nails to atleast look decent so I agreed then she says my nails are too long so it will be $30 I agreed not caring about the price and then again $35 for matte nails. Just keeps adding my price up. The ENTIRE time I was there she is texting yelling about who knows what being rude and stopping every 2 mins to text somebody back this went on for about 15 mins. She was so aggressive with her hands and she didnt even care to file my nails correctly they werent straight they were very visibly bumpy. She didnt even care to flatten them out but had the audacity to ask for $35. I will never go back here I do NOT recommend this place. Theres nothing worse then a rude nail salon. I had to go to burnsville to get them fixed and pay another $50 . I will be posting pictures

My first & last appointment. Thought I could trust the 4.6 rating, but my nails look awful. They are SO crooked on the finger bed, misshapen, and were applied so half-hazardly that there is so much extra acrylic on some of the sides of my fingers. I walked out with two cut cuticles and somehow, nail polish on my knuckle- not sure how that even happens? I went in on a Saturday expecting it to be busy, but I was the only one in the shop for a little while (should have been my first warning sign). However- I figured being the only person in the shop- I would have been given great service and quality work, but it honestly felt like she was just rushing through me. One week later and the nails are lifting off the nail bed and basically ready to peel off. I’m new to the area and was really hoping to love this place so that I could establish a good relationship with the nail artists, but I’m definitely not going back. Crooked nails- right hand middle and pinky fingers.

Three weeks later and my nails are still on, even with doing hard labor in a metal scrapyard; constantly lifting heavy things and taking things apart. I see terrible reviews but my sister and i have been going here for a long time and are always happy. We’ve tried many other nail salons in many towns and this one is our favorite!

Had an okay fill/manicure done here but went back on a different occasion to have my acrylics removed and did not have a good experience. The tech did not wrap and soak my nails with alcohol like how it should be done. Instead they physically removed them with a drill and cuticle pusher with minimum soaking in alcohol. It has been 2 months and my natural nails still look terrible. Do not go here to have your acrylic nails removed!

I highly recommend Kim’s Nail Salon! They were very friendly and willing to do what was needed to ensure I was satisfied with my nails and I absolutely love how my fill with gel nails turned out and how my gel pedicure turned out. Soooo worth ditching my old salon who was always in a rush and coming to this one where they take their time to ensure they do quality work. Went in tonight for an appointment I made for my mom and I. I showed up 2 minutes early. A woman working there comes up to me and asks me to come back tomorrow. I asked why when I had an appointment. She looked at a blond woman sitting down. The blonde stated “I can leave I don’t have an appointment.” Still the lady didn’t budge. So told her we are going elsewhere. I have never been turned away or disrespected at a nail salon. Usually people are professional about their appointments. I honestly think it s because we are black. If you are black or brown. Stay away. Your appointments won’t matter.
