Terrible. I can’t even pull out of my packing spot before writing this review. They rushed. Application is thin. Horrible shape. The gel burns your finger underneath in the dryer. They never asked what set wanted (i would have taken acrylic). All aroundhorrendous experience. Reminded me why i began doing my own, but for the sake of time (n space i no longer have) I decided to treat myself. Wasted money. Kids could have done better.

This was my first time back at Kim’s since moving back into the area. What a horrible experience it was. The gel manicure I received was actually a joke. The manicurist rushed through the entire process and did nothing but file the nails and paint them. No cuticle care or anything else that you would expect for the price that you pay. I will NOT be going back. What a waste of money.

Not a fan. They up-charge when you get to the register (without telling you beforehand) for absolutely no reason. When I questioned why I could not pay the standard amount on the board & website, I was just handed a receipt and had to pay. They also make unsolicited comments of their opinions of your nails to your face. Update: if I could give a negative 1 review I would. My mom (who has been coming to the nail salon for months) was publicly accused of not paying despite the Nail Tech she had confirming payment, and the receipt in hand. Their credit card machine was not working, and she paid in cash. Maybe it wasn’t racially motivated, but my mother (a Black Woman) was the only one accused of not paying while the machines were down. Several women went out to grab cash because they did not alert anyone beforehand that the credit card machines were down. Unbelievably unprofessional, and no apology was given.

What can I say? I have been going here for years and I have never been disappointed. Upon entering you will be greeted with enthusiasm and if you have not made an appointment, you will definitely want to make one next time! The place is always abuzz with activity and that is because of the quality of the service and care. The pedicures alone will make you more to come back as you have the option for a spa pedicure which may include chamomile scrubs, peppermint scrubs or even a pearl leg mask. The pedicures are top of the line and the massages that you will receive to your calf muscles and your feet will make you want to fall asleep in the chair which by the way, can be adjusted and are able to provide you a wonderful massage as you lay back in it. The manicures are also a treat and while you may keep it simple you will have the option of a gel manicure as well as several others which I can’t even name here because they are so varied! They have many colors and both of gel as well as long wearing polish and acrylic and whatever else you may desire. They also can put artwork on your nails or even on your toes! They do have a cash machine and they are located on a very busy strip of shops which you may also wish to peruse before your appointment or afterwards. While in the shop, you may also desire waxing or other services that require a delicate hands, no problem for them. Prices are posted prominently when you first walk in, there are customer reward points and there is an upstairs which is quite lovely if you come with a group of your friends! They are a sanitary environment and as such you will see evidence of it even when you get your feet soaked as they insert a liner into the foot bath. And they will give you money back which I assume. I love coming here and there is no other place that I would go to get my manicure and pedicure Services done as well as my eyebrows.

Clean salon. Everyone is kind and does a good job. I messed up a nail and they touched it up next day without asking any questions!

This was an okay experience. They expect tips, especially if you have cash – their discounts provide a way for you to give the cash directly to them. They also tend to skip steps if they are in a hurry.

Joanne is pretty rude. I asked a simple question regarding my nails shape politely, she then raised her voice and told me “this is MY job, don’t keep asking me about things over and over. if you don’t like it you can leave. I’ll ask when I get there” my question was “hey (: do you think that you could possibly make the shape more pointy?” with no attitude. I was smiling too. NOT TO MENTION that’s the first question I asked. before that I was complimenting her work and the places set up. even with her yelling at me I was polite. unprofessional. I’m fairly new to getting my nails done (didn’t know the full process) and I didn’t want to annoy her later on with asking to kindly to fix the shape when she’s halfway done. she could have politely told me she would fix it later on. they lied about the minor discount and charged more than the picture on the wall said.
