I love this place. I don’t come for nails usually though. I come here specifically to get threaded by Rosa. I’ve tried many places and she gets every little hair with the least amount of pain. She’s fast and friendly and i wouldn’t patron this place if she didn’t work there to be honest. I also see her for manis/pedis and she’s just as efficient. The interior of this establishment is bright, clean and smells good. They have a convenient location and reasonable prices for services offered.

I use to really enjoy going to Kim Nails even when ownership changed it was ok. But I have noticed again their prices are unreasonable and you never get any perks like you use too. They charge a lot for regular polish and also tips you cannot charge on your credit card. The previous owner use to maintain the place nicely and frequently add new improvements. The floor is propping out and the nail polishes are old. During my recent visit she charged for 10 dollars for just putting on polish on my neices hands. And I felt obligated to tip. I wanted a nail color that was almost finished and the lady just added some thinner and brought it back to use on my nails. Although I love the staff and the previous experiences I don’t see myself going here any more as prices are ridiculous, no points or perks, no way to pay without including a tip and a extra charge for using credit cards.

Yesterday I went for a manicure.the lady who did it, was a horrible manicurist. Her work was really bad.and her manners too. She speaks to me in chinese when I didn’t undertand, she laughed with the other ladies. She was in a rush like she had a lot of customers.( 3 customers in the place for 7 manicurists I used to go there once a week with the previous owners.Not anymore.

I have been getting my nails done for well over 14 years. This was by far my worst experience. The hospitality and cleanliness of the shop must be mentioned, but that is of little importance when discussing the work done. This shop seems to do gel polish and manicures well. Although they say that they do acrylic, DO NOT go here for acrylic services. I have provided a very detailed account of my experience.

I have booked this place three times… every time for me and another person and every time I ask that I they tell us a good time for us both to come in and get our nails done at the same time so we can start and finish. They always say yes yes they can do that. When we get there they always lie and sit us both down in the pedicure chair and one of us sit in water for thirty mins while the other one they start. It mess up our day and all the other appointments that we have. All three times the foot massage is the weakest they basically just rub cream the entire time and put no pressure into the massage. Expect to kill an hour and a half for a basic pedicure and manicure.

If I could leave no star I would. I get that you are tired but if you have a business like that you should know your times. If you schedule someone at 9pm knowing you are closing 10pm you can not pretend this person will just assume that some things won’t be possible, like getting a french on a regular manicure. Takes 20min to get it done if you know it. I would’ve understood u were saying maybe two colors on French were too much but “can’t do French cause I’m closing at 10pm” it’s not acceptable.

I went here last week for the first time to get a manicure and was thoroughly impressed with the professional service I received. The nail stylist who began my manicure shaped my nails to perfection unlike any other stylist I have been to before. I had another stylist put on the color and her technique was precise and left my nails shiny and fresh looking for a week. This manicure lasted through heavy workouts, constant showers, and sweat. When I was leaving the shop I forgot to check the nail color. Both stylists help me find it and I was very grateful. I highly recommend this salon. Be sure to make an appointment in advance though.
